I stayed here during my vacation in the Philippines back in June 2024 before my departure for 3 nights.
Location: I love the location. Lots of restaurants close by with variety of choices, covenient stores just outside the entrances and Mcdonald's. There were automated teller machines(bank) on the other side of the entrances/building and mini grocery stores which I found out on my last day but it was good because I was able to buy some Filipino products before my flight back. I love that this is very close to the airport and you will never be late for your flight.
Room/Condotel: I love that the bed is comfortable, toilet is clean and a washing machine in case you want to wash any used clothes which you don't want to bring back to your destination. Microwave was working fine. I could reheat my food bought from outside. There was no iron but Ate Fe(cleaner/helper) was very helpful and lent me an iron. Everything was working fine and with water heater for the shower by the way. The only issue I had were; 1. The wifi was not working. Wifi router was in the other condotel/room and Ate Fe couldn't contact the one staying in the other room to refresh/reboot the router because it was already late night. Ate Fe was able to resolve my wifi concern by lending me her globe wireless router. 2. I had neighbours who were noisy and kept opening and closing their doors at 11:00 PM until 1:00 AM. It kept me awake for 1 night. I think they were arguing or something. There are some people who don't care about others and are not thinking at all.
Service: I had a night bus trip from Vigan City, so I arrived early morning in Manila. I didn't wait long for Ate Fe before check-in. I was allowed to check-in earlier but with additional payment. I was hoping I could leave my things in the lobby area with the information desk just like in hotels because I needed to go somewhere, but it was not allowed. Ate Fe was kind, helpful and patient. This is why I am still giving the service part a 5 star. I hope she will be the one assissting me again the next time I check-in here.
Overall Remarks: I will definitely stay here again on my next vacation around June. No matter how bad our experiences are at times, it is the people helping out that will always make a difference. Thank you Ate Fe of Henry's...
Read moreGreat Location, But Poor Quality StayThe best thing about this place is definitely the location. It's close to some of my favorite food spots like Estong (the best sisig ever!), Poy Pares (highly recommended pares), and Sauce Chef, which also serves amazing dishes. Plus, if you're catching a flight from Terminal 1, 2, or 3, the convenience is unmatched. For food lovers and travelers, the area is perfect.Unfortunately, the condo itself is a big letdown. The room was dirty, with towels that had holes and didn't seem properly cleaned. The air conditioning wasn't working well, making the room uncomfortably hot. Even worse, there were leaks coming from the ceiling, possibly from the AC unit, so you can't even use the table without moving it to avoid the drips. There was also a leftover box of condoms in the room—unclear if it was left intentionally or not, but definitely unprofessional and off-putting. The TV didn't work properly, showing a strong blue tint on the screen. The bathroom was dark, and the shower water was extremely hot, even when set to cold—making it very difficult to bathe. In summary, the only good thing about this place is its location. If you're just here for the food and proximity to the airport, you might tolerate it for a night. But for comfort, cleanliness, and proper facilities—this condo seriously needs...
Read moreOverall, I appreciate the effort made to provide a comfortable stay, and the staff I encountered were courteous. However, I did encounter a few issues during my time in the room that I wanted to bring to your attention, hoping they can be addressed for future guests.First, I noticed a persistent dripping from the ceiling, which appeared to be coming from the air conditioning unit. This was a bit disruptive. Additionally, the television in the room did not seem to be functional, rendering it unusable during my stay. The water pressure in the bathroom was also quite low, to the point where very little water came out of the showerhead, making it difficult to shower effectively. I also found there wasn't a kettle available, which would have been convenient for making hot beverages.I also observed that the stove in the room was quite rusty; an update here might enhance the guest experience. Finally, and most importantly, I noticed an "octopus" power adapter being used with multiple high-power appliances like the refrigerator and microwave. For safety, particularly fire risk, I strongly recommend replacing this with dedicated outlets or a more robust, hotel-grade power solution.Thank you for your attention to these matters. I believe addressing them would significantly improve the comfort and safety for...
