Belle Époque - Apartments — Hotel in Porto

The apartment is in a great location with a nice view, and it was generally clean. However, our stay was disappointing due to several issues. We checked in at 15:00 and at 15:25, I received a message informing me of a ‘last minute issue' with the toilet that couldn't be fixed that day, without further details. It turned out the toilet flush button was broken, with two cables sticking out. When I asked how they thought we should use the toilet, we were told to use a bucket left in the bathroom. No response was given on whether the problem would be fixed the next day. The shower had a lot of molds, its base seemed swollen and ready to break, and the bathroom door was covered in dried spots, and it was impossible to lock this door. The walls had water stains, likely from leaks, and we could hear neighbors loudly, making it hard to sleep. The bed even shook when people moved in nearby apartments. Without earplugs, you won't get a restful night here. This really spoiled...

The apartment is great and all but I had the worst check-in experience. The building has a door opener with code and the room door has another code to open, so you should get an email with these codes. It happens that I didn't receive any email so I got to the door and didn't know what to do. There is no correct phone number at the door neither on any website. The platform I made the reservation through also couldn't help me and didn't have the contacts of the hotel. I spent more than one hour trying to find out the correct number to call and get help, I suggest the hotel to update their plate at the door with the contacts. By the way, the correct number is...

The worst experience ever. They cancelled my reservation on the same day(they had a security breach), didn't replied any messages/e-mails, they left me on the street until 22h (when I had to find another hotel), didn't get my reimbursement....
