Location was pretty good. WiFi was stable. Room was pretty cheap. Girl in the reception (morning shift I think) was friendly. Upon checking out and noticing that she was working, which was a relief, we asked if she could store our bags until our train left. She happily showed us to a locked room.||||Upon arrival the male receptionist failed to let us know that the hot water was not working. We only found out when one of us tried to take a shower.. Also not pleasant. We got no towels upon arrival and when we asked for them we were handed stamp sized jokes. We were also given a roll of toilet paper since it's clearly too much to ask to keep the bathrooms up to date. The sink in the bathroom did not work at all. ||The beds were severely uncomfortable and the room was missing blinds (very uncomfortable in the morning) most importantly; MOSQUITO NETS !!! After having traveled all through Europe for 7 weeks and having avoided bites until now; we got close to 50 bites each the first night, only to double during the second night. Even while being EXTREMELY careful with the light-window combination and using mosquito repellent... Obviously the mosquitoes are not the hostels fault... but a net would have been greatly appreciated... ||Sadly this has to count as one of our worst experiences. ||||In short; yes it's cheap....but stay...

When I finally arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the polite staff and the cleanliness. The room, the bathroom, even the shared toilets, they are all very clean. The girl working the morning shift was extremely professional, pleasant and polite, she even made me coffee (which is not in her job description but I was badly in need of one :-)!) and even brought it to my room! You get clean sheets and pillow case upon your registration. The breakfast is quite OK and only 220 dinars (approximately 2 euros). You get a fiscal bill for the taxe de séjour (resort/tourism tax) which is only 135 dinars (a bit more than 1 euro). As far as I could see, there were some foreign families staying there which recommends the place even higher. The hostel has a perfect location, only 10 minutes from the central bus and railway station. It is open during summer months only since it operates as a boarding place for pupils...
