This hotel is an absolute nightmare, deserving less than a 1-star rating if possible. Filthy and stuck in a time warp, it's far from the ideal holiday destination. Instead, it seems more fitting for a quick rendezvous with a Thai girlfriend. I strongly discourage booking this place, despite the seemingly decent location, as you'll undoubtedly regret it.
To paint a clearer picture of our dreadful experience, nothing in the establishment had been updated for the last 40 years. The overall ambiance was unpleasant, and practically nothing in the room functioned except for the air conditioning – which was our only respite. Shockingly, there wasn't even hot water in the shower, and the water pressure was nonexistent, making basic hygiene an ordeal.
As if that weren't enough, our misery escalated when we discovered cockroaches and various other unsettling creatures crawling around in the room. Seeking respite, we requested another room, only to find out that it was even more nightmarish than the first. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this dirty and poorly-maintained hotel; you'll thank...
Read moreI booked this hotel last minute via Agoda near Bangkok Airport, and the confirmation came through within minutes. The property is just a minute’s walk from Nana BTS station, which is centrally located and well-connected.
Check-in was smooth. Though the hotel is old, it’s very well maintained. The front desk staff were courteous, and the room was clean with a fresh coat of paint. The entire property was neat and tidy.
There’s limited car and scooter parking, and two 7-Eleven stores—one right outside and one at the back entrance. They also offer a hot water machine with complimentary tea and coffee, plus a microwave for guest use.
I had initially booked for 2 nights at around 800 Baht/night. When I inquired about extending my stay, they quoted 1,000 Baht directly. However, they encouraged me to book online again to get the lower rate, which I did.
Had a great 3-day stay and will definitely return to this hotel next time I'm in Bangkok. Highly...
Read moreThis place was chosen Thur one of those well known booking agencies. It was described as 130 meters from the Nana BTS exit. I think the 130 meters is slightly off. Walking to the hotel from soi 8 was a challenge. My Google maps said it was 250 meters. When I turned down the alley and looked towards the end, I saw no clear indication that there was this hotel as there was no signage. I proceeded to walk to the end anyway. I then walked thru a salon and asked for help and I was told that it was just across the street. The hotel itself is an adequate budget hotel. The beds are comfortable and nice black out curtains that will allow one to sleep late. There was never however hot enough water for shower or bath. When I turned on the Aircon, there was a distinct odor of cannabis coming thru the vents all day, which gave me a headache. On a positive note it's a great location for near by businesses, restaurants, night life and other...
