A new(ish) restaurant run by the same management that does "VIVA" next door on Soi 8. In fact, before 4pm, they share the same menu. However, after 4pm, the BrewHouse has its own dinner menu, featuring tapas-style dishes. I have enjoyed afternoon beers before at the BrewHouse, but recently went there for dinner for the first time. I had the lobster and prawn roll. Okay--I'm from New England, where lobster rolls are king. This one wasn't really a traditional lobster roll. It was more like a seafood bahn mi except in a hot-dog style roll rather than a sliced baguette. It had the cilantro and pickled cucumber that you find in a bahn mi. Again--nowhere near what you'd find in Maine, but still quite good on its own terms. As the name implies, a lot of beers on tap, from crafties to macros. I appreciate the range of different styles. Some craft beer places overload on the IPA / sour / fruity stuff. I like beer-flavored beer, and there were plenty of basic pilsners to choose from. Excellent service like you would expect from the very well-run Viva Empire. The live band was good and not...

Read moreThis review is for their breakfast only. The lunch and dinner menus look fantastic and I want to come back and try several of their dishes in the future. I hope to revisit this review in the future.
The standard breakfast comes with 2 eggs, grilled potato cubes, bacon and a light salad. I purchased the sausage as an additional charge. The eggs were overcooked as was the bacon. The potatoes had no seasoning and were saved by me using some Tabasco. The sausage was burnt and was some kind of hot link. The salad was good. But what I find strange was there was no toast included. I couldn’t even find an option to purchase a side order on the menu.
I did enjoy the coffee and I purchased an additional croissant that was also pretty good. There are many other breakfast options on the menu that looked quite good but I cannot recommend the standard bacon eggs. I paid more than 700 baht for the breakfast with the additions of the sausage, croissant,...
