As a former New York City Hotel concierge I had to RUN FAST and FAR from this disgraceful "hostel" (a poor excuse for a hotel) after just my first night, even though I booked their supposed "best" room for 3 nights. Where do I even begin?! This hotel is NOT SAFE! Hotel shares the same elevator with a rooftop restaurant which is managed by a third party. Only one elevator the hotel gives ALL access to all guest rooms and this restaurant. The room service is served uncovered in that same elevator! Unknown restaurant patrons made a prank to knock & pound our door late at night and ran away laughing. If not careful, anyone can enter your room! Egyptian guy who works for the restaurant followed me around the hotel, scaring me & was SO RUDE!! I eventually got into an argument with him in front of hotel staff. Management did NOTHING to help, claiming he does not work for the hotel - yet he has access to hotel lobby, elevator, guest spaces and rooms? Mgmt clearly does not care much about guest safety and experience. The front desk receptionist is also the house keeper, the maintenance guy, and the bellman. Our room was not cleaned at all at check-in & it STUNK and was burning hot! When we brought it up the hotel claims that we received "complimentary "cleaning. The hotel AC is master controlled and kept steady on either hot or cold. The thermostat in your room is a hoax: non-responsive. Throughout the night we were burning up, had to sleep naked & even opened the window, but so much loud blasting music outside. Hotel gave us NO REFUND! I booked on Hotels.com (Expedia) and they gave me a complete run around with endless blame shifting too. Do not spend your hard earned money here, stay somewhere else where you will be treated...
Read moreI definitely can say i had the worst experience not only in this restaurant but in my entire trip to turkey. I went to this restaurant and the waiter welcomed us which i thought he did with nice intentions, he randomly complimented my makeup telling me he noticed it was gothic style and asked me where i was from so i replied with “Saudi Arabia” he told me not so many saudi girls have this style and they all look “similar” and that he was a kurd, Minutes later i ordered manti which is a turkish dish and he asked me if i liked turkish dramas since i ordered manti and i said no i just did because it’s similar to a saudi dish that i love. Up to this and i had nothing but good intentions to this guy but felt slightly uncomfortable for some reason. Later on my two sisters went downstairs to the wc and me and mom stayed there at our table, the same guy followed my two sisters to the bathroom, he asked my older sister if she was younger than me or not then told her that he likes me while winking and smirked at her ,my sister told him that i didnt with extreme confusion then he said “Saudi girls love turkish men” while also winking so my sister replied with “i dont know about that” then she left and told me everything that happened, we all felt extremely uncomfortable and harassed by him and just wanted to leave as fast as possible. We were served tea as well by another waiter but when he was about to give me my tea the same guy jumped in and served it. So unprofessional so disgusting, this is NOT something to...
Read moreHotel Manager did not accept us leaving my wife sister's caryon bag in our hotel room even when it was clear that it was her sister. We tried to reason with the Manager, but he was very far from being reasonable and did not really care what we think. He said it was a Hotel policy, then when we asked to see the policy to better understand what it was about, he said that it's not written and that it was in his head as he is the hotel owner; which we later found out was not true and he was only the Manager. Hotel also has constant noises and beeping. Too bad this was happening as the hotel is nice and the location was central in the...
