Blue Mosque Suites 2 — Hotel in Fatih

This hosting is truly a rare gem and I cannot speak highly enough. the owner contacted us before arriving, on whatsapp, and made sure everything is ok. very clean room. very clean hotel establishment. Everything smells clean and nice. towels and sheets changed during the trip. free snacks and sweets in the room (and they are quite many) that get replaced. free bottled water in the room that gets replaced. the breakfast is absolutely superb with varied courses (omellette, gem, snacks, desert, cheese plateau, etc) the dining view is really nice. the owner arranged for us a free parking spot in front of the hotel, which is extremely important in istanbul. Public parkings are expensive, overcrowded and in many of them you have to leave the keys to the car. the owner provided us with a istanbul public transit card (it was empty and it was on us to buy tickets; but it was nice to not go through the hassle of buying it ourselves) the owner highlighted some important sightseeing places and also recommended us when to go in order to avoid traffic or get a better experience overall. but most of all the owner and his wife were very kind to us. And that matters a lot. When I will come back to Istanbul it will be the first place I will reach out to. The experience was really really nice. Teşekkürler...

The location was perfect and the interior was quite nice. I liked the balcony too.

However, we had issues. For example, every night at 1am the lorry came to empty the bins and there were extremely loud crashing noises. Even when the window was closed you could hear every noise outside.

One morning, the fire alarm went off at 5am. We were concerned about going back in but we were met with laughter. We were absolutely exhausted, having only slept a few hours due to the loud noises from the outside.

One evening I left out my dessert on the kitchen table I bought from an expensive bakery. When I came back the next day, it was gone. It was clearly unfinished.

The room my family member was in had building works going on right outside. We were never told this was going to be happening. It was noisy and intrusive.

I expected to have been offered compensation for the fire alarm but we weren’t given anything. Not even an apology.

This could be a great place but there are some serious issues they need to fix. And please insulate the windows from the sound. I literally felt like there were people right next to me. And don’t laugh at guests when you wake them up at 5am with...

I stayed for 6 nights in one of the apartments at Blue Mosque Suites. The property immaculately clean and the manager Mr Kubilay had ensured everything was ready before we arrived. The fridge was full with fruits and drinks and big bottles of water. The dining table was set with tea cakes and biscuits. My wife and I were a bit overwhelmed with such a nice welcome. ||The apartments (and the hotel) are so close to the main attractions at Sultan Ahmed square. One can walk for 3-4 mins and find oneself in front of Hagia Sophia and the legendary Blue Mosque.||During the stay Mr Kubilay ensured we had enough water bottles in the fridge. The apartment was equipped with a fully functioning kitchen, fridge, washing machine. Everything was working as expected and it all saved us few precious bobs not having to search for a local laundry and not having to buy our own water bottles. ||I highly recommend Blue Mosque Suits to anyone with (or without) family and young children...
