Our home in İstanbul 🥰❤️🏠

I wanted to start my review with this sentence as it describes how we felt during our stay at Bram Hotel.

I have been searching for a nice place to stay in the Old City part of İstanbul as I took my Greek husband to İstanbul the first time (I still feel the happiness of that day in my heart). Before leaving London, I have done an extensive search about the hotels and found Bram Hotel, I read all the reviews on every website for this place and they became a winner on all stars out of all the hotels I listed. I am not exaggerating at all.

📲 I contacted the hotel via instant messaging, and Mr Ali got back to me straight away, I made a reservation for 3 nights. The owners Ali and Tarkan speak multi-languages at a very good level: English, Dutch, French and Turkish (maybe more).🤗🏆

✈️ I also arranged the airport pick-up with Mr Ali as they had a good deal. We had a nice, luxury drive from Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW) to the hotel.

Let me tell you more about this great place... ⤵️

📍The Bram Hotel is located at the heart of Old City İstanbul, walking distance to almost everywhere for the top sightseeing locations.

✅️The hotel was renovated inside out recently and they did a great job of placing everything in standards for health and safety. I work as an inspector in the UK and I was so impressed with all they did for the hotel. Bravo.

♿️🩼🧳 The hotel has two entrances and one of them is suitable for accessibility requirements.

The hotel has a cafe/breakfast area with a very modern design and speedy internet for all visitors (free of charge) - the internet works very well on every floor including the beautiful terrace. You can enjoy the great view of İstanbul from the top and go through the centuries while sipping your coffee, this is priceless! 🤩🌆🌃

The hotel has a good size of lift serving to every floor.

The rooms are good size, immaculately cleaned and well planned for needs. It had a big comfortable bed, air-conditioning, double-glazed windows, blackout curtains, TV, fridge, hair dryer, 24/7 hot water, and clothes hangers with a hanging rail. You can have an iron on request with an ironing board.

☕️🥐🧀🧇🍳 The breakfast was included in our stay, it was very generously served with a beautiful Turkish tea or a coffee.

The area is just perfect for all the things for visitors, pharmacists, off-licences, so many restaurants, grocery shops, once a week local bazaar for fruit and vegetables etc., carpet/rug stores, a barber, banks... You name it.

🔎📸💡 Please ask Ali or Tarkan for all attractions as they have deals with city tours, pick-ups, ferries, Turkish baths and many more.

We ended up extending our stay another night and if we didn't have other commitments in another city, we wouldn't be leaving even after the 5th day. 😄👍🏼💯

This is solely my impression and I have no personal connection with the hotel. We paid for all our stay, I am not an influencer or similar.

I truly hope you will enjoy your stay at Bram Hotel as much as we did.

I am recommending it to everyone without hesitation and hoping to go back soon for another week.

Thank you, Ali, Tarkan and the team for their...

An outstanding stay experience exceeded all our expectations

Our stay was nothing short of exceptional, blending convenience, comfort, and exceptional hospitality in the heart of the old city.

From the moment we arrived, Ali and Tarkan showcased great hospitality. They accommodated our very early check-in without hesitation, ensuring we could rest after a long flight. Communication with Ali was flawless—responsive, friendly, and always going the extra mile to assist with recommendations or requests.

The room was very tidy! It might sound surprising the cleanness standard was even better than 5-star Hyatt hotel I’d stayed at in Singapore two days prior. They have an elevator/lift made accessibility effortless—no stair-climbing struggles here.

The delicious and healthy breakfast was a daily highlight. Freshly prepared Turkish classics, seasonal fruits, tapas, bread, jam, and made-to-order extra eggs fuelled our adventures especially after my daily 10 km run in the morning. It’s rare to find a small hotel spread this generous and flavorful! Good illy coffee (not the best but good enough) and nice tea too.

5-10 minutes walk from Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and other iconic attractions, The T1 and T5 tram lines are also around 10 minutes walk. It felt very safe to explore around even during early mornings and late nights.

The rooftop terrace offered a good view seeing sunrise and sunset.

The only thing could be improved was airport transfer where we didn’t enjoy much of waiting but it was third-party agent…

Overall 100% recommended!

Thanks Ali and Tarkan again for exceptional and hearty hospitality! We will...

We stayed here for a long weekend and enjoyed it - would come back if we'll visit Istanbul again :) our hosts made us feel welcome and were very friendly and helpful. They arranged a last minute boat trip for us, recommended places to eat and helped us fix our half-done itinerary so we could explore as much as possible in the limited time we had. Each day we came "home" to a perfectly arranged and cleaned room (it's very clean overall) and we were greeted with a smile every time we stepped into the hotel lobby. The place has a cozy, positive vibe 🩷 plus the roof terrace is amazing 🤩 (there are baby seagulls on the roof next door) You can reach the metro/tram on foot in 15 minutes if you prefer to walk and explore the area. The 2 most famous mosques, the palace and the bazaars are very close (even on foot), so the location is great. I also loved the breakfast, great selection of sweet and savory food, with lots of fruits and veggies - the portion was big for me, but my husband could finish it 😁
