Radisson Hotel Istanbul Sultanahmet — Hotel in Fatih

I was traveling from New York while my family came from Baku, and from the very moment I walked into the hotel, I knew we were in great hands. Murat immediately recognized me from our phone conversation prior to my arrival ( a small detail that really showed how attentive and guest-focused the staff are). We were greeted with the warmest welcome, and throughout our entire stay, Murat went above and beyond to make us feel at home. On my birthday, the team even surprised me with sweets and local delights (such a thoughtful gesture that made my day extra special). Our rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels replaced without even needing to ask. The breakfast each morning was a highlight (the omelette station was fantastic, and the spread included a wonderful variety of cheeses, breads, fish, desserts, juices, and freshly brewed teas). It was truly a perfect way to start each day. Midway through our stay, there was some mandatory street work happening outside our balcony that affected our view and caused some noise. When we mentioned it to Ridvan, he immediately apologized and moved us to one of the luxury apartments (completely free of charge). We were honestly just voicing a concern and never expected such a generous upgrade. It really showed how much they care about guest comfort. The hotel’s location is another huge plus ( it’s within easy walking distance to all the main attractions and super convenient for Uber rides). Dear Raddison Sultanahmet.||You have one person who made our first Turkish holiday stay the most memorable. His name is Kalandar. He's a gem that makes your lovely hotel stand out.||Rest assured I am coming here again because of his Turkish hospitality.||I messed up my bookings due to my fault, I had to book 17 to 19 July but mistakenly booked 17 to 19 August. I was coming with family from JFK and after such a long flight with kids, I was dumbstruck by my mistake.||Kalanadar made us all feel at home and welcomed & arranged rooms for us. He went above and beyond making my wife and kids comfortable and at the same time attended to my booking. After checking us in he also guided us so nicely of what all to do in Sultamahmet and other lovely attractions in Turkiye like Cappadocia etc which I couldn't do due to paucity of time. But I am coming again to Turkiye to see all the lovely touristic places because of his guidance and hospitable nature.||I am a Hilton guy, but Raddison has found a new loyal member in me because of Kalanadar. I have been in Hilton, Marriott, Wyndham and Hyatt chains, but haven't seen such a seasoned customer dealing offered by him.||I foresee Kalanadar rising in the future to the highest ranks.
