I'll start with one of the top things we were looking for when we booked a hotel in Goreme/Cappadocia: the rooftop terrace is one of the best you will get in the area. It is near the top of the mountain-ish area surrounding Goreme and since the hotel does not have many rooms, you're guaranteed to have a good place at the top of the hotel to view the balloons and/or seeing the whole town at night being lit up.||That being said, the hotel is overall very good. The rooms are of a good size for their categories, the beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were of a good size and everything was very clean so there are no major issues. We had a slight problem with our jacuzzi but it was resolved relatively quickly. The hosts giving their welcome speech was good overall, but it does lead to why this is not a 5/5 for us: there is a odd feeling we got from the owner.||The welcome speech seemed to push sales (which is fine), but there was also something strange that felt like it was slightly disingenuous. To emphasize this, we ended up, for ease of booking, to take a booking with a "best of" tour with another one of the owners. During the tour, you could tell it was an impersonal experience, despite us paying for being just us as a couple. The guide said a few things that didn't sit well with us (nothing malicious; more about contradictions they said, didn't seem to be attentive to us for the most part, etc.). It just felt like a whole "used car salesman" feel to the situation. There was also a small thing where we took something to drink with our breakfast (which was included) and then we were charged for the drinks. Neither of us remember being told drinks weren't included (food was)...but the owner just said "yeah, it's not included" and charged us a fair amount for two drinks. We just felt like that was a little deception to say breakfast is included and omit drinks weren't. ||Overall, it's a decent price for what you get (not great, as we paid an okay amount and you get a great hotel overall, but for the region, you're paying above average as well), it's clean, good space, and great views. I also want to say we don't believe the owner(s) are actively deceptive or malicious at all; it's just something that threw us off...
Read moreBrilliant service by Mr. Ramazan Bey. Fantastic property, the views are amazing from the terrace. Seamless check in by Thural. Attentive service during breakfast. Heated floors which give you warmed up water in the commode was a nice touch on cold nights. The jacuzzi rooms were a superb experience after the all day tours, would totally recommend the rooms with jacuzzi. Taking Mr. Ramazan as our tour guide fr a private tour was my best decision for cappadocia apart frm choosing Arinna for my stay. Mr. Ramazan the owner really goes the extra mile to ensure the best service at the standard prices in Cappadocia. He is honest and keen to provide an extraordinary experience from start to end. We learnt soo much about Turkey from him. He is the owner of Arinna and therefore we oversaw every aspect of our stay from the booking to check out. Even if you are unable to find rooms available fr your dates, definitely use his services for the hot air balloon ride, atv, horse, jeep, private, red, green or blue tour. I wish Arinna Cappadocia much success in the coming years. And last but not the least Mr. Ramazan is ceramic artist, his work is available fr sale at the hotel. Exquisite ceramics at great prices. When you buy from him you know you are buying a genuine and quality piece and he is more than happy to explain the artwork details on display, knowing about the design, colors and style of each piece from the artist himself is an unique experience compared to buying a random ceramic from one of the many shops in Turkey. And I have to mention that the shops he took us to gave really reasonable prices because he knows literally everyone...
Read moreArinna is not the typical famous cave hotel in Cappadocia and to be honest we did not put much expectation when we first book. Our stay turned out to be exceed expectation, for us in a group of four ladies. Location wise, Arinna located further up which is at a higher spot compared to Sultan Cave. This is where we have a very good view of the whole landscape and when hot air balloon rises. Room is clean and tidy, lights are abit deemed but never affect much on our stay. Breakfast served by the hotel is also some authentic Turkish breakfast, great tea and coffee served too. Ramazan, the owner of the hotel, has been following up with me on the booking since the day we booked like a month ago. Even though we have some last minute arrangements , he tried his best to accommodate our request, plus point to his service. We had also take up the private tour from him and he personally guided us. Something I wanted to highlight was how professional he is as a tour guide and with the proper English during the whole tour. Language is kinda challenging in Turkey itself as I think not much of the people, even the one doing business, understand English much. Highlighting also one of the spot he brought us to, which is the underground, I’ve never expected history can be so interesting, for real, Ramazan can tell good stories. You can also book the hot air balloon ride with them and just enjoy your trip with hassle free. Overall, I would recommend Arinna and definitely I’ll be...
