Shake Shack — Restaurant in Dubai

After a very long time, I once again visited Shake Shack DCC last 12th of January 2025—and spoiler alert, my experience was nothing but amazing.

Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted and attended to by a staff member named Lemuel.

Even though the store was quite busy, Lemuel stood out with his proactive, energetic and approachable demeanor.

His willingness to assist and his positive attitude were truly admirable. He made sure to guide customers efficiently at the order kiosks, which was a big help during the rush.

As someone who has avoided animal meat for almost two years (about 80% of the time), I was thrilled to revisit Shake Shack to try their Shroom Burger—a recommendation by Lemuel.

It was a satisfying choice, but I do hope the menu evolves to include more plant-based options in the future.

The ice cream was another highlight for me! Lemuel went above and beyond by accommodating my request to split two flavors—vanilla and chocolate.

Small gestures like this truly elevates your dining experience.

While the French fries were my least favorite item, they were still enjoyable alongside the burger.

I also added and loved the hot tea, which was a perfect companion after the meal.

Overall, my visit was fantastic and nostalgic.

Almost all the staff, including Lemuel, were all incredibly welcoming and helpful, which made the busy atmosphere feel much more manageable and cheerful.

This was my first-time trying Shake Shack, and the experience was a mixed bag. On the positive side, the host who helped me with the order on the screens was welcoming and the place was clean and tidy. I appreciated the small smart sink for washing and sanitizing hands.

However, the service at the pickup counter was disappointing. The lady there was not welcoming and gave me the tray without proper instructions on how the service works. She didn't explain where to find ketchup and mayo, and I had to figure it out myself. Moreover, they made a mistake with my order; I asked for 2 French Fries but received only one. It's frustrating that they don't double-check orders.

I was excited to try the Black Truffle Burger, but it was super average and overpriced, especially since fries aren't included with the meal and have to be ordered separately. The Chicken Shack was also a letdown—it was super dry, and the nuggets were soggy and tasted like fried onion.

Additionally, I found out that the soft drinks are refillable only as I was leaving. This should be communicated upfront. The restaurant wasn't busy, so there's no excuse for the poor service and food quality. From my perspective, Shake Shack is overrated and costly for what they offer. I won't be coming back.

I had an amazing experience at Shake Shack in Deira City Center, and it was all thanks to Lemuel! He is, without a doubt, the best server and floor manager I’ve ever encountered. From the moment I walked in, his energy, professionalism, and genuine kindness stood out.

Lemuel goes above and beyond to make sure every customer feels special. He anticipates your needs before you even ask, checks in with a warm smile, and ensures that everything is perfect. His attention to detail, efficiency, and positive attitude create an incredible atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again.

On top of that, he recommended an incredible pistachio dessert that my aunt absolutely loved! Thanks to him, she had an unforgettable experience, and we left with smiles on our faces.

It’s rare to find someone who is so passionate about hospitality, but Lemuel is a true gem. Shake Shack is lucky to have him, and I’ll definitely be returning—not just for the delicious food, but for the top-tier service he provides.
