2 Cambridge Villas — Hotel in Great Britain

Our hosts Rod and Kate were both very welcoming, helpful and friendly and keen to ensure we enjoyed our stay and had all we needed. We booked the family room (ensuite) and our youngest son was staying with us – which was ideal for us. Our room and the B&B in general was clean and tidy. The breakfasts were nice, with a good range of options and to order to suit each guest together with a range of times to eat (with the option for special requests when needed) – which was ideal for us. The B&B is very centrally located with easy access to local amenities, shops and restaurants a short walk away. We managed to park overnight in Church Street when we arrived (in the dark) and used the parking pass at the Football Club during our stay, which was only a short walk away. We have just spent 3 nights here as part of our first trip to the Lake District and were not disappointed! The B&B itself is a charming Victorian townhouse a couple of minutes from the town centre and is handily located on a quiet street as well a close to many links to other popular areas. The room was light, bright and cosy with wonderful pillows and bedding on a comfortable bed. Our host Kate was warm, welcoming and friendly, taking the time to chat with us at breakfast each morning. The breakfast itself was delicious and plentiful with a wide variety of options available. We are already planning our next trip back to the Lakes and will definitely stay here again....
