We stayed here as a party of two females in our twenties and overall it was fine. The main comments I have are as follows:||+ve|- location was ideal as it was only a 10 minute walk from Victoria tube station. It is also within (long) walking distance of the major tourist spots If you like walking|- the room was clean so no complaints from this aspect ||-ve|- we opted for a double with ‘en-suite’ and although I was expecting a small room, I was not expecting it to be as small as it was. The room was tiny and the en-suite was even smaller. I would go as far as saying it was smaller than an airplane toilet.|- breakfast was very standard as in toast and cereal with tea. It was fine but the owners make the toast and tea for you so it felt a bit uncomfortable asking for more|- one staff member was very unhelpful. She was friendly when we arrived and when we left but during our stay she did not try to facilitate us. For example we came down for breakfast at 8:55am so 5 minutes before it ended to get a cup of tea and she wouldn’t give us one|- pricey for what it is||I would stay here again for the location alone. It was fine for me as a low maintenance type of person but I would not bring my parents here as a...
Read moreI got a single room with shared bathroom for £71, which seemed to be cheap for a Sat in London so it was really just a place to sleep and I wasn't expecting luxury. Mostly it met my low expectations. However I did have an issue with the bathroom. Although there was a sink in the bathroom there was no soap or hand towel so it seemed you were expected to use the toilet and then go back to your bedroom (where soap was provided) to wash your hands. I put my soap in the bathroom as I wasn't ok with this. I really can't see why soap and a hand towel wouldn't be put in a bathroom, shared or otherwise. ||||Other information that might be useful... The bathroom was shared between three rooms and situated between the floors. The shower was basic and I didn't look too closely, but fine for one night. The bedroom was adequate, though very warm, and had a sink. Breakfast was in a very small dining room and limited to cereal, basic white toast and a hardboiled egg, and tea/coffee/jiuce. ||||On the plus side its in a nice area, two sets of doors at the entrance, pleasant reception staff and...
Read moreIf we could have given 0 Stars or under that, we would have done so. We had book a bedroom for 2 and was given a room in the basement with very bad air conditions which resultet in having to open the windwos, which made the room very cold. Furthermore, the room was without bathroom or toilet - you had to share one with others on the 3rd floor - 4 floors above our room, which we were not informed about before checking in. To make matters worse those toilets did not work. The people in the reception were hard to talk with because they did not listen to the complains we made regarding the toilets. However, they were kind enough to upgrade our room for two nights, to another room with a bathroom and toilet for 20 pounds. However, when we flushed the toiletwater came out onto the floor, and taking into account the tiny bathroom, you could not avoid it. We therefore strongly advise people not to book rooms at this hotel, if you do not wish to have the same...
