Rainbow Inn doesn't even deserve 1/16th of a star, let alone 1 full star!! The room they put us in was beyond disgusting, the nasty stench was only the beginning... A/c continuously blew out a nasty gross smell, tv from the early 90's, ceiling looked as if someone had smeared "something above 1 of the beds, beds were NOT queen size like claimed but in fact FULL size, dust ruffles were... Ugh, let's just say that one of them looked like it had "spunk" drizzled down it & onto the floor, comforters were so dirty they looked like they'd never been washed & smelled even worse, the carpeting was gross & I wouldn't take a chance walking on it for fear I may get some kinda cooties, the bathroom was DISGUSTING... Layers upon layers of paint trying to cover up mold in every single corner AND on the ceiling, walls had someone else's hair randomly dangling all over, pubic hairs all over, rim of the toilet bowl was so caked in black mold that I'm really not sure how it actually was able to still let water into the bowl, the tiles were not only sticky but so dirty that it was impossible to tell what the true color once was. The bedding below the disgusting "comforters" naturally smelled gross as well, & the "down comforters" were dirty & terribly stained, sheets were tattered & had been bleached so much that there was tears & holes in them... Under the beds literally had NEVER been vacuumed & had random stuff under them like little pins, hair balls from lord only knows when, dirt etc., behind the night stand is never cleaned nor are the corners through out the entire room, corners & baseboards had so much "crap" caked up that it'd probably take a jackhammer to get through it all, the headboards on both of the beds looked about as "clean as the flooring, baseboards & under the beds" (note the sarcasm there) and last but DEFINITELY NOT LEAST.... The noise through out the entire one night stay was ridiculous!! People on the 2nd floor right above our room were in & out all night, every step they took was heard like I was actually up in their room with them rather than below them, people on each side of us could hear us talking & we could hear them as well, even over the tv being on.... Might I add that there was noise like that all night long non stop. Oh & the door to get in & out of the room had no other lock of any kind other than the standard "card/key" type... Meaning that it could have been opened at any time by anyone with a "master key" and/or opened a lot easier by any UNinvited / UNexpected "guest(s)".... I've been to & stayed in 1 & 2 star rated motels before & this one more than "takes the cake".... Seriously pondering the thought of contacting the local health dept for that area, give them a little insight on that place of pure nasty gross disgusting against health code sh*thole "place of stay/"motel".... I highly recommend NOT NOT EVEN CONSIDERING THE THOUGHT OF STAYING AT THE RAINBOW INN!!!!!!!! Should you go against my will d here & try your luck there anyway, make POSITIVELY SURE that you DO NOT take any little brownish colored bugs with you when you check out to leave... BEDBUGS ARE A HORRIBLE THING to get rid of, & it only takes ONE SINGLE bedbug to create a disaster for any & all things you come in contact with, including people!!!!!!!! DO NOT STAY AT THE RAINBOW INN!!!!!!!!! Seriously just needs to be condemned... Ridiculous & overly disgusting 1,000,000,000,000,000...

We didn’t expect a 5 star resort but we also didn’t think they would have CAMERAS IN THE ROOM to watch us. Check in was easy, lobby was closed so check in was through a drive thru type window next to the front doors (okay, whatever). Policies were taped onto the window (they probably had issues in the past, again, whatever). We were asked to leave a $60 CASH deposit after we paid for the room and checked in (never been asked for cash deposit, so I made sure it was in the paperwork to be returned upon checkout). We walked into this motel and set our stuff in the middle of room, walked around to make sure it looked alright. It didn’t. On top of being told we were in a smoke free room (even with a smoke free plaque) and then being told it was a smoking room, then the cigarette holes in the duvet, plus the walls that looked like someone peed on them, miscellaneous items still in the room, drawers missing handles and shelves, no towels, an inch gap when you closed the front door (no exaggeration), and much MUCH more…. There was a CAMERA on top of the TV facing the entire room. We unplugged it immediately after snapping a couple of photos and promptly decided we were no longer staying there. As we were taking our stuff back to our car we noticed another family was unhappy with their room and being moved. We brought our concerns to Alex (m) at the front desk who informed us the room was turned down (though it looked like they only made the beds) and the camera was not there when they finished. That it was NOT THEIR CAMERA. So assuming he was telling the truth, and it was not their camera, someone else has access to the room without their knowledge and is able to place cameras inside…he was quick to rush us off when we said we weren’t staying and that he would not be providing a refund. We threatened to press charges and informed him that we would be filing a police report (as no one should be at risk for human trafficking) and he immediately said he would refund us, gave us our cash and refused to talk to us again as we left. Promising a call from the owners, that has still never come. DO NOT STAY HERE!! There are many cheap SAFER options in the area, possible human trafficking or just a plain creep watching you in a sketchy motel room isn’t worth it.

Read moreTHEY TOOK MY MONEY||I booked Rainbow Inn in Buena Park, CA on 06/26/23 for 07/04/23-07/07/23 through their actual website (I thought hotels/inns/motels didn't like clients using third parties to book their rooms) and I got a confirmation emailed to me about the reservation. However, on that same day I needed to cancel this reservation and sent an email to the one they provide. They do not check their emails because I have yet to receive one back, so I entered my information and comments using their contact form on their official website but there was still no response. ||I tried calling several times as well, but every time I called there were no answers and no opportunity to leave a voicemail. At this point I was very frustrated at not being able to talk to anyone from this establishment and as the reservation time came, my card was charged for the whole reservation, not just the cancelation policy amount. | |I was able to to talk to someone after calling a little past 6:00 PM on Monday 07/10, but I think it was a young part-timer as they couldn't help me because a manager was not on site. I was advised to call again the next morning between the time of 8:00AM-9:00AM, and so I did but my calls were not answered. At 9:30 AM I tried calling again and someone actually answered. However, after telling my side of the story, the woman on the other end, the manager, told me that there were no emails from my address and stated that they are open 24/7 so they always answer the phone. ||The manager said they would refund for the extra 2 nights, but not the amount that pertains to their cancelation policy because I did not cancel in time. This is not true as I did try to cancel, but the manager clearly did not want to deal with this situation any longer and said they had other calls to take and hung up. ||I want to warn other people who are considering to book this establishment, to listen to the reviews because this is a shady business. Below are some receipts because I was telling the truth and I just think it's not fair to take my...
