My husband and I received a Groupon gift and wanted to get a couples massage. We get massages on a regular basis and are familiar with how they work. My experience started off on the wrong foot when I called to book an appointment. The good news is they could get us in same day, within an hour or so. But once I mentioned to the gentleman (I think the owner?) that I had a Groupon, he sarcastically laughed and huffed and puffed and said that it clearly states on the sheet that we can't use it for same day appointments and would need to save it or not book that day. He then went on to say he had too many Groupons that day and couldn't handle anymore. I believe this could've been conveyed in a much kinder way as it isn't the customers fault for attempting to come to your business through Groupon. I felt Groupon shamed. Nonetheless, we decided to book the appointment anyway and pay out of pocket on the first one. There was a male and female masseuse available. We both prefer a female but I went with the male. The facility and room was clean and professional and we were greeted right away and got in right away. During the massage, however, my husband's therapist was coughing and clearing her throat a lot. We are not alarmists but this shouldn't be happening right now with all the precautions taking place. She should've been wearing a mask. My therapist was efficient and did a good job of focusing on knots and using deep tissue techniques to work on them. But when he got to my legs he went WAY too high on my upper thighs, to the point it was very inappropriate. I was not interested in that kind of massage! I was very uncomfortable. I sent feedback through their website to avoid a public review out of courtesy, but no one responded to me after a week. Very poor customer service. I feel people should know. We won't be coming back. My husband is not having any virus symptoms, so...
Read moreI paid $100 for a groupon deal here for an hour couples massage. Only to find they offered the same deal there already and they had a smaller sign that offered hour massages for $25 and two hour massages for $50. So i am assuming me paying $100 for two people is oil with clothes off in a private room versus clothes of in a community room. We had an appointment at 4pm. We got there right on time. They had us sign wellness sheets discussing our desired pressure and areas of pain to focus on. That took about 5 mins. We were lead into a room, my wife used the restroom while I undressed. She came back 5 minutes later and she got ready as well. We laid there for 5 more minutes until two ladies entered the room and began our massages. Time about 4:15 or so... the massages itself we below par for a licensed masseuse, no focal points marked on my wellness sheet was even addressed. Just 10 mins of elbows rubbing up and down my back. 10 on my shoulders and neck and then 10 more on my legs. She had my turn over and she rubbed my cheeks and head for another 5 minutes and said we were all done. I know it only lasted 40 mins because i checked the time on my phone after she was complete. Despite me paying $100 for an HOUR massage we got 40 mins of elbow rubbing. The only saving grace from a 1 star review is that the facility is nice and clean and the ladies there are nice enough. But do not be fooled by the website or other reviews - this is a higher end Chinese quality massage parlor. You can pay $25/hr for a better quality massage at many other locations that are listed as Reflexology Massages. Its not worth the time or money even at "groupon" pricing. And we wont be coming back even...
Read more1 STAR!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡 I just left this place and let me tell you about my experience. When I walked in, one person greeted me without saying her name. When I was walking out, another lady apparently did my massage. When I was lying on my stomach, the massage therapist left the room TWICE without any notice and left the door cracked. When I turned on my back, someone opened the door by mistake. Are there no signs to say DO NOT ENTER?! I had an 85 min massage, but about 40 mins of that was only directed to one area of my body which was not the spot I requested more time on. Which I guess makes sense being as though the first person asked me and not the one who actually did it. The massage therapist was TEXTING multiple times during my massage with her volume on, which is how I knew she was texting. Multiple times!! She touched my face without cleaning her hands. We all know how dirty phones and door handles are… The massage was not horrible, I tipped because I felt like I had to and it was uncomfortable to write $0 as she was watching me. The experience was NOT relaxing at all. And again, I couldn’t even tell you who massaged me. I was uncomfortable sharing my experience in person so I said nothing. I’m not confrontational and felt too angry to simply be assertive. Take your money somewhere else. NEVER...
