This review is specific for the golf course staff. We are from North Idaho and we travel through Branson every year in our Motorhome. We typically stay at Branson Lakeside RV park. We’ve been coming here for the last 8 years. We’ve found the locals here very friendly and courteous. We travel with my elderly in-laws in our Motorhome and I’ve played golf with my father in law and numerous golf courses. This was our first time playing Thousand Hills golf. Two days prior my father in law was admitted to the hospital via the ER. Now I don’t dispute we didn’t contact the golf pro shop to cancel his tee time but we tried to explain this to the staff. The lady at the pro shop was very rude, disrespectful, non-accommodating and down right nasty. Again we were taken aback by her tone and attitude and she said, “ I don’t make the rules, we just follow them. If you want to talk to the golf pro.” Also in this conversation she insinuated that we should have called within 24 hours to cancel. We tried to explain that we were in an emergency situation but she wasn’t having any of it. She acted like she bound care less. As a matter of fact she snarky says, you have a phone don’t you? Then we encountered the starter who was curt and not courteous at all. He never says “welcome to…”. What he did say is, we gave rules here and you can’t bring alcohol on this course. It’s not our rule but Branson. If I catch you with it I’ll have to kick you off. So we wonder if that’s how all staff members are. None of the staff we encountered took responsibility but hid behind “rules” that weren’t theirs. We were surprised at how wee we’re treated. Again I understand the 24hour cancel process but we didn’t have to be treated like pond scum. Yes, we are tourists but always encountered great hospitality here in Branson, from hotel staff, show staff, McDonald’s staff, restaurant staff, other golf course staff. They all welcomed us here and made us feel like they cared. We will not come back to...
Read moreIf I could give Zero stars, I would!! One of the adjoining Cabins that we had was so incredibly hot that we could not use it for much of anything for our entire visit! Definitely could not use the kitchen for cooking at all! Maintenance came to check out the AC only to tell us that it was probably as good as it was going to get. They were right!! It never cooled off in the living area on one side and we were there with elderly parents. We had waited many years to bring our family for a special vacation and after paying approximately $1500 the vacation was nothing like it should have been. Also, when I called the front desk to tell them of the continuing problem with the AC, even after Maintenance had checked it, the guy at the desk was SO incredibly rude and said, "Well, we gave you a fan"! Can you imagine in a cabin that would not cool below 84 they expected us to be happy with a fan!?! I asked him how he would feel if he were in the same situation at which time he began yelling at me!!!! I asked him to have his Supervisor call me the next day (because they had already gone for the day) and the Supervisor NEVER called!! Also, the carpet in both cabins were filthy as were the floors. There was mold in both showers. The carpet going into one bathroom was unraveling. The blinds desperately needed cleaning. Nails were sticking up on one of the patio decks. The 3 DVD players did not work. The dining room chairs at one table were so bad that when you sat down you literally sank almost all the way through! It was horrible and we will NEVER go back and will tell everyone who asks us where to stay in Branson to be SURE NOT to choose the cabins at Thousand Hills! To the Supervisor at Thousand Hills you need to do something about ANY employee that would yell at a Customer for ANY reason! Horrible experience and I intend to take this beyond the Supervisor at...
Read moreThis place is run by the Branson Club, a vacation club, and they are complete RIP offs. If I had the time in my busy schedule to reply back within the shirt 7 days that BBB gives yiu after making a complaint, i would have. These people are complete liars, they drill the heck out of you to get you to buy their vacation packages, they tell any lie to get you to do it. And will find some way to try and recoup the $99 vacation package they give you.
For us they lied and said we used hair dye in the tub, that got on the towels. When it was a cheap bath ball from Walmart, that was like $4. We called and explained this to these people. And they said they would call us back to rectify it, and never did. So we made multiple complaints about this crooked ring. They sent us to the Jess-Jo Pkwy location first, then sent us here to Thousand Hills Golf Resort to stay the weekend. And the rooms were subpar at best, ruined down, old, outdated, staunch and dank smell to the rooms, hard to get to rooms with elevators and carts, big hump going into front door of rooms, lumpy beds, etc, etc, etc. 🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️. And you can see that many many reviews, said the same things, so clearly they need money bad 👎🏾.
Evidently, they needed the $206 more than we did, wo they must be a broke company, and not doing well in business, that they have to try and find ways to rob other businesses and their Customers. It's all good, GOD will have the final say so, and fools will learn the hard way. They'll probably file bankruptcy soon and change their name.
Do your self a favor, and stay far away from this scam, it's not worth the money, book your own vacation, and skip their mandatory sales meeting to get you to buy in. It Ain't Worth It At All‼️ They'll find a reason to make their money back by charging your hotel room for things that don't...
