Okay so I rated this place four stars two years ago and didn't leave a review. So I must have liked it then. I went there again last night in the midst of a Covid lockdown. I called ahead to see if I could get a table and I was told that they were not seating people. I knew this had to be a lie, and probably the girl answering the phone just didn't want to see it anyone knew she wanted to go home because there weren't any customers. So we decided to drive by. we pull up to the restaurant and they have the doors locked but they have a doorbell for you to push to gain entry if you have a reservation or you would like a table. A different girl answered the door then answered the phone obviously, and I asked her if we can get a table for three. She said sure no problem imagine that. Now I always have a bad sense about red lobster, I have resistant to go there and for some reason I feel like I'm not going to have an enjoyable experience. Give him my location being close to Maryland and lots of delicious seafood restaurants red lobster always seems like a compromise. However last night after we got in and got a table with mostly no wait, I found the food to be good the waitress was delightful and it had a good time. I had the salmon bowl which I highly recommend even though I don't like salmon and the rest of my family had an assortment of fried shrimp coconut shrimp fried clams etc. I'm more of a broiled seafood fan so their dinner's didn't really do much for me but mine I thought was quite good. We also each ordered lobster bisque which was delivered to the table cold. When I say cold it's not tepid it's cold. I sent mine back and asked for hot cup of soup and it came piping. In summary, I would recommend red lobster, and if you're told that they're not taking reservations or seating people on the phone don't believe them. If I was the restaurant manager I would do a little research into this and figure out which of the girls answering the phone is telling customers to go elsewhere to eat. Also I would be cautious about serving cold soup, because of my experience cold soup means I get food poisoning. 140° folks. I had a good time last time I went 2 years ago I had a good time last night so it looks like I'll probably have to go again. Maybe my opinion of red lobster...

We we cam early on a Saturday becausenour son had a flag football game. To our surprise the Manager Michael Jackson always told us he work nights and my family of 8 came for late lunch and to our surprise he was there. So he does come out in the daylight. Lol. And everything was consistent as usual and its great he greeted us by name and also remembered the family including my son Anthony Jr. ( AJ). Michael is a Gem and we new if we came early we might miss our new friend. To our surprise. The service and his work ethic was the same and didn't change, even with a daytime server (brianna) wow food was delicious and the service was impressive once again. He walks around helping seat to delivering food to and wiping tables. I can tell he loves people and loves to talk. He talked to everyone like he been knowing them for years. Our 3rd visit after bypassing for 2 to 3 yr. Thank you Michael Jackson for winning us back and treating us like we matter and thr appreciation with attention detail and admire the ❤️. Once againGreat Visit on Wednesday night. Our Server was Tyirah. We came late and the Manager Mr MJ greeted us with a welcome and informed us that TYRAH would be our server for the the night. She was very pleasant and professional. The Manager assisted her in delivering our food and was smiling along with her the entire time. After spending all day in hospital, it was a pleasure to feel welcomed 30 minutes before the posted closing time. The music was bumping the jams and they had the NBA playoffs on the the TV. Kudos to the bartender. The 3 Flights were amazing. We live by the one on 202 and it's like night and day. And very well managed and clean. 5 plus stars is the highest I can give.
Good Job the the Manager...
Read moreI have been here twice during Covid. The restaurant supervisor (I think that’s what she called herself) is going to ruin this place. My first visit: no sign saying reservation were required. Went for lunch. Walked in and the supervisor asked if we had reservations, we said no do we need them? And she said “no you don’t need them but I’m really not sure if I can even seat you!” We were a party of 2 and there was only 1 other table of people in the restaurant (so we knew they weren’t at capacity or close and it was an off time). We were left standing in the front for about 5 awkward minutes while she went in the back to check if we could stay. Very uncomfortable. The experience was turned around by our amazing waiter, a guy with a multi-syllable name, and tall. He made us feel welcome.
Came back a couple weeks later (should have asked for the guy waiter but we forgot his name). Upon approaching the door the restaurant supervisor (same women from last time) was having a discussion outside with a potential customer. This discussion became a louder argument with the supervisor yelling at the potential customer who had a party of 9 and was told on the phone days prior that they could accommodate her. The potential customer even said she understood that they would have to sit separately because of the party size. The supervisor continued to tell her there was no way this could be done and she has no clue who would lie to her. The door said “ring bell for inside service” so I rang it, I was then yelled at by the supervisor for ringing it because she was busy....how was I supposed to know she was the only one seating people? She half apologized and then sat us (we should have left). No where on their menu did it say they took off the garden salad which also meant they took away all of their salad dressings leaving just ranch and Cesar (even though they have 3 salads on the menu that had 3 different dressings). We ended up leaving after an appetizer which was good...but we were hungry and...
