I'm pretty sure we all know how this goes... You scroll through reviews of different restaurants and you see the typical handful that are absolutely amazing And then the handful that is absolutely scathing. When I got home I had my dinner, I knew I had to leave a note for that team to read publicly. It was a very busy day at work today, and I didn't get a chance to eat lunch - strike one. Yes I know it's unfair I'm just being real about it even though it was all my fault. Placed an online order and everything went smooth, But then I walked in the door 30 minutes later and no order in the to go display- strike two. Already hangry since morning, I could feel strike 3 coming in hot, But then this story makes a big turnaround. I was greeted by happiness. I don't think it was a made up canned kind of happy, I believe this was a natural cheerfulness that comes out of this person. Mistakes happen, things slip through - it's life I know, But I really have to say that this team not only recovered with speed, but with grace as well. I was afforded the same smile as I was headed out and I was asked to come back for another visit. I'd left a quick serve restaurant with my to-go order feeling not only happy about the experience that just happened but about the whole day in general and I hadn't even seen my food! I got home and my sandwich looked perfect. I just took the last bite as write this very ending, and every bite to the end they nailed it. Great...

Sooo...went here to buy a sandwich before going to the casino. Thought I might eat half tonight and half tomorrow for lunch. I paid over $18 for a subpar sandwich with 50 cents worth of potato chips and not even 32oz of pop. The cashier asked me if I wanted a pickle spear ( should not have been a question at $18) I said yes. Did I get it? NO. I was the only customer having come in at 8:47pm. She did suggest that I get the sugar cookie over the chocolate chip, which did turn out yo be good but not stellar. Have no idea how much I paid for it. Perhaps this place is more about charity than good food. They have how much they've donated posted front and center. The actual sandwich, which I came for, was warmed up but the meat had NO FLAVOR and the toppings were meh...I had to add more. I ordered a pretty classic sandwich, the hero, with turkey, ham and beef but the meat was actually BLAND??? That's crazy. I have no problem paying over $18. My issue was with the quality and missing items at that price point. I guess I just wasn't aware that the focus was not on the food. As I ate only half the sandwich, I kept thinking...I could have sat somewhere and had, good food, good service, ambiance and a to go portion for that amount of money, and I didn't even get what I ordered. Hopefully my contribution is going towards a good cause, as implied by the advertisement on the wall. The place was very clean, and the esthetic was cute. However, I came for the food. It's a no...

I ordered the medium engineer combo with a small drink and I wanted to try the chicken and dumplings instead of my side of chips. It was 19 and some change. I said wow and she said I can make it a cup Instead of a bowl. So she did that and it was still 16 something and I thought of just sticking to the chips but went ahead. I got my order and the chicken and dumplings was just a soup with 2 dumplings and barely if any chicken. Must have been finely cut up. I would have rather had chips to be honest. I got on the app and ordered the same combo with the bowl instead of the cup and it was 14 something. So instead of charging me a combo she charged me individually for each thing for a higher price. I guess I’ll just need to start...
