Title Boxing is one of my favorite workouts!
The workouts are TOUGH and the staff super friendly. You are always welcomed by a friendly face at the front desk when you arrive - whether it is the owners or a staff member, they all take the time to get to know you at a personal level and make sure they know you on a first name basis.
Your first class is free and the staff is super helpful if you are a first time boxer - they get you signed in/up, give you gloves, set up with wraps, etc. and help you make sure you are wrapped correctly, know the basics of the punches and where to punch on your hand/the bag, and make sure that the trainer knows you are new so they can help you throughout the class.
There are 45 and 60 minute classes - be ready to get your butt kicked in the 60 minute class. There are 14 minutes of warm-up in the 60 minute class, followed by eight 3 minute boxing rounds that have 1 minute of active recover in between. At the end there are 14 minutes of abs that are KILLER.
The instructors are very motivational, repeat the moves multiple times and come over throughout the class to try and push you harder. At the end of class it isn't abnormal for members to linger and chat with the instructor/owners/front desk workers.
Other things: I have never taken a shower here post class but there are multiple showers/bathrooms for members to use and lockers to house your belongings during the class. There are always deals going on if it is your birthday month, free drinks after class on Wednesdays, bar crawls on weekends, etc. - basically the community here is great.
The pricing when I joined was $80 month for 4 classes, $120 for 8, and then a little more for a monthly unlimited. Honestly, $20 for a class is not bad when you compare to cycling, barre, crossfit, etc. I bought my wraps from this location for $12, and then bought my gloves on Amazon for $40.
Overall DEFINITELY recommend for anyone at any fitness level - you can tailor this workout to...
Read moreTrainers are great- unfortunately had a really bad experience here. I came down with COVID-19 and was already wary about going back to a gym so soon- I had issues paying especially since I was out with covid for an entire month. Owner (Keith) had been sending me reminder payment texts that were quite lengthy and persistent- I get that but literally had covid so that was the last priority of mine considering I hadnât stepped foot in the club that entire month. He was extremely rude to me when I reached out and he demanded that I give him a credit card so I donât have to go any where near their âdirty clubâ ever again after I explained the situation to him. (I still have all of the text messages) He then suggested that we part ways after paying an entire month for nothing. I have never had an issue with anyone at this club or in general? Title proceeded to send me promotional texts after I left and have been ignoring my messages to please remove me from their list. I really enjoyed the trainers and rest of the family at title and understand that itâs hard to run a business especially during such times. However, I am still completely appalled and hurt by the texts messages I received demanding payment and relentless calls when I couldnât even speak I was so ill. I suggested that a lot more could be done to keep the club clean (clean the floors and medicine balls they are gross) and feel that I wasnât listened to and instead attacked for trying to give constructive criticism to a place I used to love. Sad I really hope this doesnât...
Read moreOn 4/17 at 5:30PM, I ventured into my inaugural class, brimming with nerves as I embarked on this new journey. However, upon crossing the threshold, Sarah, stationed at the front desk, warmly embraced me, instantly dispelling my apprehension. She guided me to my locker, assisted in donning my wraps, and exuded a calming presence throughout. Meeting my instructor, Brie, proved equally reassuring. She patiently outlined our session, encouraging me to set my own tempo. Demonstrating proper technique and stance, and she attentively monitored my progress, offering guidance and support at every turn. The class itself proved to be a rigorous challenge, pushing me beyond my limits. Despite not enduring the full 45 minutes, I found solace in the freedom to pace myself, hydrate, and recuperate sans judgment. Engaging with Kaz for one-on-one training was invaluable, even though my stamina eventually waned (Apologies, Kaz!). Although I didn't make it through the entirety of my inaugural class, the experience was nothing short of transformative. The camaraderie and hospitality extended by both staff and fellow members left an indelible impression, igniting a fervent desire to return and improve, even as I currently nurse limbs devoid of sensation. (I desperately need some icy hot) Thank you all so much for your warm hospitality, I can't wait to return...
