The Carlisle Room has been my dream wedding venue for years. Once I was officially engaged I took my fiancé to tour and it was even better in person. We loved that it had a lot included and felt like a one stop shop for catering, bar, ceremony and reception. It's such a stunning space and it's so centrally located for hotel blocks. We booked our rehearsal dinner and our rooms at the Statler and were able to just walk over. We worked with Jennifer from start to finish which was great a well. She was always available and quick to respond to our questions. We also really enjoyed working with their staff on the catering side - our banquet captain was SO kind to our family and kept checking in on them to make sure they didn't need anything. We received so many compliments after the wedding regarding the venue, the food and the bar. One other fun note - if you want outdoor photos there are so many cool areas around the venue - there's a park across the street that's beautiful and we used that for our first look then we walked down a little ways and took photos in front of a church (where you see a lot of photos posted on Instagram) and some other cool locations in case you want a variety of backgrounds! Parking can be a concern but that's not unusual for a downtown venue - we talked with Jennifer about this and she offered a few options. We opted to offer an Uber code to our guests to limit the amount of driving, valet was available at the nearby hotels we used for room blocks, and we included directions/a map on our wedding website to direct people to nearby parking garages that were free. A few options that Jennifer mentioned that we didn't end up doing: hosted parking in one of the nearby garages for a cost (we considered this but didn't meet the minimum cars) or you can offer valet through a third party. We were very detailed with our guests about where to park and where not to so I would just be clear about that so nobody gets towed!

I could not imagine a better wedding venue. We really wanted to have our wedding in downtown Dallas, and as soon as we toured The Carlisle Room we knew it was perfect for us. And we were not disappointed! The venue is beautiful and we loved having a separate ceremony and reception space, all connected, indoors and air conditioned. Jennifer was great to work with throughout the process, and the beverage/cocktail manager did an amazing job creating our signature drink (and gave us a classic and elevated option to choose from). The food on the wedding night was very good, and we had many friends and family members tell us how great the pot roast and stuffed chicken were (even my dad who generally doesnt like chicken kept commenting on how good it was). The venue also has a great layout for cocktail hour and buffet food service. The Carlisle Room is truly stunning and unique, has a great location downtown near tons of hotels, restaurants and attractions (important for us since we had mostly out of town guests), and the food and service were great. Because of the amazing architecture, you don't need to spend an insane amount of money on florals and other decor, because the venue really makes a statement on its own. Overall our wedding at The Carlisle Room was amazing and we had the best time. We did our rehearsal dinner downtown at Pegasus City Brewery (same architectural style as The Carlisle Room and nearby) and had our afterparty at Harwood Tavern which is a fun place right across the street (no reservation, just led folks to the bar after our exit), so I also recommend checking those options out if you host your wedding at The Carlisle Room. And definitely check out Tiffany Hopwood Photography for pictures and Mentopia Productions for video as both have experience with the venue and are very talented.

Wow your guests with The Carlisle Room. It's simply stunning with the pillars, high ceilings, and details of the entire place. There's a nice variety of photo spots both inside and outside the venue that you'll love, especially if you want a downtown feel. We were told the ceremony room totally surprised guests as well with its beauty and uniqueness. Although it's tempting to do a classic black and white at this venue, I promise having color makes the whole place even more extravagant. Jennifer and the team are extremely helpful and want to make your day perfect. We felt the cost of the venue was reasonable compared to other locations in Dallas. Where it gets a bit more expensive is Beyond the Box catering who you are required to use, but honestly it was worth every penny. Several food and drink packages with flexibility regardless of if you go with buffet, plated, action stations, etc. Multiple gluten-free options. We were told it was the best wedding food some of our guests had ever had! As a couple who goes to 5-8 weddings a year, we absolutely agreed. Everyone wants to hear that and experience that, haha!! We knew at the taste testing that no matter what we selected, it was guaranteed to be delicious. Would highly recommend booking The Carlisle Room for your big day.
