We stayed a night at the hotel and the next morning my mom fell outside near the pool because they have a drop off that isn’t marked in any way at all indicating to be careful around that area. She busted her lip up really bad, it was bleeding and swollen up, instead of doing the right thing and making sure she’s okay and checking up on us later, they come up with this scheme to go ahead and kick us out by trying to say that we had marijuana on us and that we had been smoking it inside the room during our stay. We literally did not smoke anything inside the room, had no marijuana on us or anything of the sort and tried our best to explain it to the staff but they wouldn’t listen and continued treating us poorly until all of our stuff was packed and we were gone... They might have thought that we had some Marjiuana on us due to the fact that we busted cigars and there was leftover tobacco in the restroom trash can that we used to roll CBD Flower we legally purchased from a shop a mile or two down the road from the hotel. When they sell you the flower you roll it the same as you would Marijuana. Ect, with papers, wraps or cigar shells/pipes. So a recap of our stay experience... My mom got hurt, they lied and said we had Marijuana when we didn’t... they would only let us pay cash and wouldn’t refund us even though we weren’t allowed to stay and had to leave right on the spot after we’ve been walking around all day exploring Florida just trying to enjoy our little bit of vacation left that we only get to endulge in about once a year... and not only do we have to find a different place to stay but we’re out a whole $160 because they didn’t cover their you know what by putting safety warnings around potentially dangerous areas of the hotel. So basically they’re punishing us for their mistake. That’s okay though, we’ll eat the cost right now but this place will be hearing from my mother’s lawyer when we get back home and we’re not on vacation, we’ll...

English Version: We spent a wonderful 12 days at the Soleado Hotel. The hotel is located on a quiet side street with little traffic. The hotel owners are very friendly and accommodating, and the same can be said for the entire housekeeping staff. Guests feel welcome here. The grounds, pool, BBQ area and courtyard are well maintained and in good condition. Only the seating area in the garden behind the hotel should be renewed or cleaned, it no longer looks very appealing and does not invite you to linger, which is a shame.
Location: The beach is a 3-minute walk away. The beach promenade is perfect for long walks or morning jogs. The restaurants, bars and clubs are about a 20-minute walk away to the south. If you walk a little further, you will reach the “Marina Village”, an area with many different food stalls and seating options with a view of the harbor. Here you can get fresh draft beer and cocktails. A visit here is highly recommended. Heading north, you will reach the Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, which is also no more than a 20-minute walk. The main entry is on Sunrise Blvd. Here you can take a nice walk and enjoy nature. There is also a restaurant and a canoe rental. In addition, the park offers barbecue facilities. There are several places in the park where there are fixed charcoal grills. Just bring charcoal, light it and enjoy your own grilled steak.
Conclusion: The hotel is perfectly located, the rooms are attractive and the owners and also the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely...
Read moreI spent a week here over the holidays, with family nearby. It was perfect for my stay. I booked originally via VRBO, booking was CANCELLED by VRBO one week prior to arrival, but I called the # directly and they still had my reservation on their calendar. A full one-bedroom, with a living room, full kitchen with full fridge and plenty of cookware (including microwave and 2-burner stove), relatively new bathroom with very large shower, the AC worked all the time, bed was comfortable, plenty of closet space and drawer space. Just 2 blocks from the beach, it included 2 Tommy Bahama beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and 4 beach towels. The pool area gets sun almost all day so that's a good option if the beach is too windy. It was a little run-down, the bathroom definitely needs more storage space and the in-room safe didn't work, but it was immaculate, and for a long visit this was definitely great. Close to great shopping, restaurants etc. If you are looking for a 5-star hotel experience you should look elsewhere. but this one fit my...
