Storm Meadows At Christie Base — Hotel in Four Corners States

We were guests at Storm Meadows for 5 days. This is hands down our worst lodging experience. Two nights in a row tractors were scraping snow off of a handful of parking spaces from 11pm to 5am directly outside the condos. We 100% get that this work is necessary but why at that time??! Several people called to complain and they said they’d send security to assess the situation. They told us “we get a lot of complaints from guests about it”. Cool. Wish we would’ve known that and not booked this place. People are paying thousands of dollars to stay here during peak season and can’t actually sleep. We were well aware we’d be staying in an outdated condo which is our usual go-to on ski trips, don’t need anything fancy. But this place was rough, the toilet didn’t fully flush and the thermostat doesn’t actually control the temperature so we were roasting every night. The internet consistently just stopped. The front desk service was awful and check-in was chaotic. We shuttled from the airport and were told they’d have our check-in ready so that the shuttle wouldn’t have to wait to take us to our building but they didn’t have it ready. And for checkout, the airport shuttle arranged to pick us up at 11, a typical checkout time, but their checkout is 10am. No biggie, except that we’re at a stand alone building with no lobby. They wanted us to stand out in the parking lot with all our gear and suitcases for an hour. I would not recommend this place...

Meh. Standard run down, over valued ski condos for rent. They REALLY like to play up their 'Premier' location, but in the end it is just another condo in a so-so location. These are privately owned so there appears to be a HUGE range in how updated they are. The one I was given hadn't been redecorated since the 80's. Meadows at Christie Base were just beautiful with excellent views of the ski resort. And there was so much to do!
