I only write reviews when I believe an entity is so great others would benefit from knowing or when a proprietor is not forthcoming about issues. This is the latter. We’ve been at the Cache Lodging at Copper Mountain for several days. The room lacks hot water nearly all the time. Catching grief from my wife and teenagers over hot water should not be on my vacation agenda. Copper Mountain is fully aware this is an ongoing problem but will not disclose this in advance. The entire Cache property is apparently served by a one boiler system that is unable to satisfy the property’s demand. We’ve been advised to try and shower at odd hours (which so far means not between 6 am and 11 pm). We are on day 4 of cold showers. At this price, a lack of hot water is unacceptable.
