The Cirque — Local services in Colorado

When you book a condo at a ski resort, you kinda expect 3 things: a place to stay close to the mountain and/or lift, a hot tub to relax in after a long day of snow sports, and friends/family to enjoy the experience. Copper lodging can't promise the last one, but they included the first two in the list of amenities when we booked at The Cirque.

We were really disappointed the hot tub was closed down for our entire 3 night stay. If you couldn't tell by my paragraph above, it was something we were looking forward to. We called the front desk to see when it would be fixed. The response was along the lines of, "whenever the property manager gets around to it". We picked The Cirque because Copper lodging said it was one of the nicer places to stay and the room was clean and nice. We did have an issue with one tub not draining properly, but maintenance fixed it quickly. For not having the hot tub, though, I feel like we missed out on a primary amenity and were not compensated...

Meh. Not a great location, you’ll still be lugging ski equipment 15 minutes. Parking at the mountain and locker access the worst I have experienced at any ski resort, so you’ll wish you stayed in Center Village. We ended up renting a locker for an extra $100/week in Center Village because it made the experience much more pleasant. Rooms dated and drafty. Housekeeping only comes 1x per 3 days, and if you stay 6 , they’ll only service the room once.

Nice pool and hot tub are the only real positives in this sorely outdated lodge.

BTW, I am sure a large majority of the positive reviews are from owners trying to rent their units. No way this deserves any more...

The Cirque is not only the finest property at Copper Mountain, it is one of the finest in all Summit County. Units are elegant, spacious and comfortable.
