Snow Flower by the Gondola - Vacasa — Hotel in Four Corners States

Here's the naked truth and I am using a 5 star system with 5/excellent, 4/very good, 3/good, 2/fair and 1 being poor or very disappointing.||*If it's all about the location then this place is amazing!! Basically just off Gondola Square (the base of the ski area). It’s hard to beat the location!||Pool and Hot Tub are well heated and great for après ski relaxing||Parking is included if you're driving||By mid-trip, I got to finding this unit (#103) cozy in an odd but good way. However, it is very dated. Believe it's all 1985 original. The unit desperately needs to be upgraded. Of major importance to any normal size male and maybe this applies to females, the toilet is round shaped meaning it is very small making it very difficult, at least for men, to use. This may sound funny but it's the truth. Need to be replaced with an elongated toilet. Again, no joke here.|| For Unit #103 only - The really big issue/problem is that this condo is NOT a "one bedroom" condo. In fact, it is a studio or efficiency apartment. This means it is all in one room/area and the bed is a queen size "Murphy Bed" meaning it folds up into the wall. There is NO separate bedroom as it states in the listing. When I looked at the pictures it showed the studio unit but it also showed the 1 bedroom unit. Since it said 1 bedroom, I booked it. Had I known that this was a studio apartment and not a one bedroom condo, I would not have booked it.||I'll finish by saying I felt duped by the listing and pictures but we made the best of it. It grew on us in a good way and felt cozy. But it is small and if you’re not happy with the person you’re with, it could become very uncomfortable for the two of you. But it is a great location. And had it not been for the location, I would have already lodged a formal complaint and asked for...

This property is right by the base of Steamboat Place condos...and a short walk to the main resort base gondola. The view from the patio looks up at the mountain.. and I think if night skiing is operating (it wasn't during our stay).. you can see the night skiing..... This has a modern kitchen and decor... with plenty of pots, pans, skillets, george foreman grill, Keurig coffee maker, drip coffee maker... board games in the coffee table.. and smart TVs... so you can watch your favorite apps... there is a wine/liquor store across the street.. that also has a small grocery market for quick easy shopping... also a City Market and liquor store about a mile away.....they feature a big hot tub, heated swimming pool (also included pool towels in the unit), and covered parking... The beds were comfortable, the smart TVs made for easy access to shows... two humidifiers.. laundry basket (shared laundry room by elevator)... easy trash/recycle access on each floor... ice machine on property... great communication with the owner Randy... who checked to make sure everything was good... he also got us a deal to store our skis at a ski shop by the gondola.. but we opted to just store them in our Yukon... as the walk was easier to do it that way vs navigating a few flight of stairs in ski boots lol... overall a great Christmas Ski Trip......

The condos are clean and more than adequate for a nice stay. The condos lack more modern and high end amenities and decor. For example, they just have a standard cheap fridge, basic dishwasher and a basic Mr. Coffee pot. Our condo did have a stacked washer and dryer, which if I had known about I could have packed fewer clothes. The counter tops and furniture are simple, but again very functional. The units have good cable channels, and free wifi, with plenty of bandwidth for watching videos and movies on your devices. The balcony was small and ours did not have much of a view. The bathrooms were nice, and had great water pressure. We were there with a group, and they allowed us to use a conference room, which was nice. It was close to the gondola and the slopes, but certainly not ski-in/ski-out by any means. My only real complaint is that check out was 10:00 (seems a little early) and they required we gather and take out our trash before we leave (not a big deal, but it just seems the maid service could take the trash out when they cleaned the room since we had to be...
