Iāve never had a bad experience at a chick fil an until yesterday. I ordered catering for NYE. Order was placed for pick up 345.
To start, Iām standing at the pick up counter, and multiple employees wouldnāt even acknowledge me. The cashier literally walked over to COUNT the soda nozzles and didnāt ask me if i needed/had gotten help, lol. Iāve never had a restaurant employee blatantly ignore me like that.
Finally a sweet girl came over and asked if I had been helped. I told her no, she went to ask about my catering order and told me itād be about 5 minutes.
Fast forward and a manager Demtri(?) walks over, asks if the catering order is for me, i say it is, and he tells me that they figured I would want the food to be warm and ready when i get to wherever Iām going for NYE. I said ok, very confused, and after he walked away, I realized he was telling me they hadnāt cooked the catered food I had ordered hours ago.
A girl came out with my order and I asked to speak with a manager because I realized I was being given uncooked food. She grabs Demetri and he comes out.
I very calmly begin telling him I didnāt expect to get cold food and he very rudely cuts me off and starts telling me they can just go heat it up for me. I begin saying that this food is already late, and he tells me they forgot about my order and that thatās why it wasnāt made. He then WALKS AWAY FROM ME mid conversation/argument. I literally asked him HOW HE WAS GOING TO WALK AWAY FROM ME WHEN I WAS JUST ADDRESSING A PROBLEM. In the doorway he tells the girl who bought me my food to give me a refund.
I have never been talked to like this at a restaurant. Ever. Especially after not getting CATERING. Demetri does not belong in a restaurant setting, let alone a management position. How are you going to get mad at me for not wanting uncooked catering lol.
Another manager came out and apologized and refunded my order. But beware if you dont like cold catering. Demetri will make sure you feel like crap...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAttached is a picture of my bag from my order today and shows what they go off of putting stuff into the bag is what I was told. The reason Iām giving this location a 3/5 is because I eat breakfast at least 3 times a week here if not more. However at this location itās frustrating because I always order a spicy chicken bowl. Every single time I check my bag I have to ask for a fork. I was told that the person reads off of the bag what to put into the bag and that their system isnāt putting utensils on it so thatās why. Itās common sense that a chicken bowl is going to require a fork or spoon, Iām not going to use my fingers to eat a chicken bowl. Also 2/4 times I have to ask for the salsa packet thatās suppose to come with it as well. Itās just disappointing and wait times at this location in the drive thru is longer than any other Chick-Fil-A Iāve been to. Unfortunately this location is the closest to where I live, so I have to come here. But itās like everytime I talk to someone about these issues in the drive-thru I get told itās their āsystemsā, I would like some common sense to be applied and not just rely on the āsystemsā. Iām debating on traveling more than 25 minutes to a different location just to get better service because from where I live itās 25 minutes to this location and 35 to the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst of all, I'm not a fan of fast food restaurants. Unfortunately when you are travelling in the US there in not much choise. So back to the topic fast food restaurants should have their own reviue group. Chick Fillet beats all fast food places hands down, especially McDonald's where the picture shows something else and they serve something else to you. Where the beef tastes like ground shoe soles. But I'm not talking about other restaurants, just the one I visited. So I have to say that this is my third time in this restaurant. I felt like I wasn't in a fast food restaurant. Nice smiling staff, freshly brewed coffee that the staff brings to the table. Chicken fillets are fresh and really tasty, the lettuce is big and real (not Iceberg Lettuce) and sticks out of the sandwich. Tasty, nice dressings. The fries weren't hot, but this is a fast food restaurant and no one will fry fries especially for me. Although if I asked, I would definitely get fresh fries because the staff was very nice. Keep it up and raise the standards up, let the other learn from you and if not, no one...
