I stayed here over the past couple of days with my mom and twin sisters who are 7. They’ve never been on vacation nor stayed in a hotel for any reason until we came here. Upon walking in we already knew this was going to be a great hotel. They had cute signs everywhere about spreading kindness and in the world we live in today that made me very happy. The lobby was immaculate which is a major plus then we spotted the area with all sorts of toys and board games for kids AWESOME! We got to our room and I almost passed out at the size of this room! The price was pretty low in comparison to the other hotels nearby and the room was HUGE! The room was very very clean the bathroom was the size of some hotel room I’ve stayed in and paid more for than this room entirely. There are heat lamps in the bathroom and that too was IMMACULATE! Beautiful shower and nice deep tub. As I continued looking around the room I spotted IT we have sliding glass doors with a sliding screen leading to the balcony that was all ours and a HUGE back yard with garden beds a stream a fire pit picnic areas a playground and the heated pool. We also had a functional window that we were able to open and let fresh air in which I loved so much. As you know most hotels you arent able to do this and after a few days of no fresh air in the room it gets stuffy and smelly not here though! Cable tv, free WiFi, free breakfast with lots of options. We had a minor issue on our first night and the man who I believe to be an owner was extremely attentive, helpful, and kind even insisted on refunded some of our stay which we never asked for nor would we it wasn’t a big deal in our opinion but again he was insistent which was extremely kind! Across the street from the hotel there are beautiful mountains to look at which I personally LOVED! You can tell the owners of this Hotel take great pride in their hotel I’d call this a 5 star in my personal opinion. We will be staying here again without a doubt. I’d love to see this place in the winter. The pictures I’ve attached are the breakfast I had the front of the hotel and the yard we had access to from our room. Thank you for making our stay cozy comfortable and elegant my mom said this is the nicest hotel she’s ever stayed in and she’s stayed in many!

This is a nice, well kept, clean and spacious hotel. This review is based on two separate 1 nigh5 stays the 1st in Oct of 23 and Feb of 24. My wife and I stayed here after visiting the Fryeburg Fair and it's about a 45 min drive from there. The rooms are updated and cozy, we got the Queen room w/jetted tub both times. All the rooms seem to have a small patio or balcony (2nd flr) and the veiw in the morning or evening is amazing. The beds are comfortable and have above average (to me) bedding. I'm not everyone as we're all different but I did sleep well. I do gotta say my 2nd stay was rrrrr a little annoying as we got the end room by a side entry door (rm 17). I do not advise this room because ppl checked in at like 11pm and stomped around, left, came back around midnight and stomped more. This wasn't intentional noise but just very loud bass like booming that you cannot avoid by walking because of poor insulation or construction. One thing that happened both times was during check in the man at the desk wouldn't make eye contact with me even after addressing him. He instead focused on my wife and spoke to her even when handing registration papers to me. All in all I would stay again summer or winter you cannot loose in this area of N.H. Also we ate at the Red Fox grill and bar (about a mile from the hotel) AAAAMAZING is all I can say, best food ever!

Nice place. Typical inn. Was nicely and quickly checked in. The family that runs the place is always cleaning or doing something around the property. Pool was clean, nice, and warm. Tennis racquets and balls to use. The room had everything you needed. There were family of kids around us on both sides and we really couldn’t hear them. Only time we heard them if they were on the porch or someone was in the hallways so those rooms are really quite. Plenty on channels on tv and wifi worked great. They have board games etc up front. The breakfast was decent. The. Family kept bringing out more food and cleaning. If you like waffles there will be a line since each one takes 2.5 minutes to make. The waffle spray is in the drawer below. Made me a sausage and egg sandwich. Plenty of parking and wide parking spots. Are the rooms accessible. I would think the ones on the first floor would be. Good spot. I would say good for families.

Great stay at the Lodge At Jackson!|Aug 27 thru 29 – 2025.|What a gem this place was. It's right on the outskirts of Jackson on Rte 16. We used it as basecamp for hiking as it's less than 11 minutes away from trailheads for Rocky Branch and Glen Boulder trails.|Although it’s on Rte. 16 we heard NO road noise at all. The grounds are AMAZING – compliments to Brem for his hard work. Beautiful flower gardens, well-manicured lawns, clean, paved parking lot. Property is bordered in the back by a nice river and views of mountains out front. They have a tennis court, in-ground pool, corn hole games, volleyball net and chairs and tables along the river bank. |The place looks like maybe it was just renovated because the inside was as nice as the outside. Super clean, no odors of heavy cleaning solvents like some hotels. Check in was quick and easy. All of the people we encountered who worked there were very nice and helpful. The building is two levels with the hallway running down the middle of each floor. Even numbers face the street – odd numbers face the back. We had room 15 on the first floor and was almost at the end of the hall with a small parking lot right out the back hall door – perfect for loading all our gear in and out. Room was super clean as was the bathroom, shower and in-room jacuzzi tub. The ground floor rooms have covered patios with two chairs, the second-floor rooms have porches. |Our room had a decent sized tv with LOTS of stations (better than home). Bed and pillows super comfortable, water temp and pressure in shower great, good lighting throughout. Plenty of USB charging outlets. Wall mounted heating/AC unit kept the room at good temps and was not overly loud and bonus, didn’t have that musty smell that a lot of hotels blow out at you.|The building must be built very well as we never heard a door slam or feet pounding on the floor above us. The ice machine, soda and candy vending machines were on the first floor on the even side a few doors down from us and we never heard anything.|They have coffee pot and mini fridge in the room – the public microwave is down the hall in the breakfast area. Breakfast is 730-930am and was good. For lunch dinner – they are within walking distance of both Shannon’s Door and the Red Fox restaurants – both were excellent.|We usually travel with our dog so we are somewhat restricted in where we stay but she stayed home this time so we found this place and loved it. Price was extremely reasonable. If you are coming up to this area for hiking, skiing, leaf-peeping etc – this is a great little spot to set up shop at. |We will be back for our next hike.|Two thoughts – neither the window nor the slider door had screens in them. We would love to have been able to have fresh cool air and listen to the river – maybe that’s something to be added but otherwise, they seemed to have hit everything. Also, free, password protected WiFi was in and out in our room. Nice and solid however in the lobby and dining room so...

We booked our Polar Express package 9 months in advance and I told them that I would be traveling with my four young children ages 6, 6, 3, 2. The owners sold us the polar express package and it sounded like such a wonderful and exciting family weekend. Upon check in we were told about the Lodge and the policies. We were told that if we wanted to participate in breakfast we could eat in the gathering room or take food back to our room. Our sleigh ride was not booked correctly, but we waited and thankfully the owner was able to fix it. He told us that he was able to pull some strings. We booked the trip far in advance, the reservation should have been made correctly in the first place. Our room was clean, but faced the road and did not have black out curtains, so light came in at night making it a little more challenging to get the kids to sleep. We could hear the children above us jumping around in the room. We decided to participate in the morning breakfast. The gathering room was occupied by another family so I took some muffins back to the room. The plates available were cake plate size. My kids did eat, and got some crumbs on the floor..nothing crazy and should be expected when young children are staying. We kept the room neat and put all of our belongings away before we left for the day. We came back to the hotel 10 minutes before we had to leave for the polar express ride. To my shock, I found a note left in my room (see attached picture) asking that I supervise my children so the crumbs end up on the plates instead of the rugs. In addition, the note was left on an envelope with a label for housekeeping gratuity. I thought this was extremely tacky and rude! I always leave a tip for house keeping at the end of our stay but never have I had a note left for me complaining they had to vacuum on a tip envelope! To get a note like this made my husband and I angry and upset right before we were supposed to leave for the Polar Express ride, the big event for our trip, and took away from the excitement. If the owners do not want crumbs, they should not have family packages for young children. I always supervise my children and the kids were not running, yelling, misbehaving or disruptive or disrespectful in any way. At check out my husband noticed a sign (see picture) detailing the story of the owners and then asked if the guests had an issue to please speak to them so they would not read anything negative on TripAdvisor. Clearly if they wanted to show the guest the same respect the owners would have talked to us in person instead of leaving a nasty note in our room. I waited to cool down and then sent the owners an email and received no reply. These are clearly people who are not interested doing any type of business with families and I feel like they offer these packages because they are expensive and they can make a nice sum of money from them. We book Polar Express packages every year. We would never even consider staying at the...
