NEVER AGAIN !!! 12/ 21/ 2018 UPDATE - In response to owners response (below) . I called you the day after the purchase and explained that the Framed photo was in perfect condition and the reason for the requested exchange was that the colors did not blend well with the surroundings as we had hoped. You were the one that was unreasonable. You would not have any conversation about an exchange . I did not request a refund. Your reply is simply an attempt to save face. Poor judgement poor business !

It had become a sort of tradition for us to visit the White Mountain Photo Gallery when we went up to Jackson for the Holiday school break. Well the last time we visited we made a purchase of a pre-framed photograph. We live about a 3.5 hour drive from Jackson and when we got home the colors in the photo did not work as we had envisioned. I contacted Dana and explained that there was an issue with the piece. I asked to exchange the photograph ...(not refund). He would not accept a exchange. He gave us a lame story that made no sense about his inventory. The photograph had been purchased only a day before and was a stock piece that was pre-framed. We will NEVER revisit this type of establishment. Bad business!

We met Dana about 5 years ago when we bought a place near N. Conway. Walked into his gallery at the Snowflake Inn and have been going there ever since. Dana is not just an extremely talented artist, he’s a great person! Always fun to talk with, we especially love hearing the stories behind the beautiful photos he takes. Our walls have well over a dozen of his works (and I dare say, we’ll have a dozen more soon!) displayed and everyone who sees them remarks on their beauty! Dana has an eye like no other. He captures not just the majesty and beauty but the heart and spirit of the places and wildlife he photographs. His color and composition are second to none and he’s a terrific person to do business with-always patient with us and always fair!! Just a super guy!! If you have no idea what to do in front of a camera then you NEED Daryl Hawk as your photographer. We hired Daryl for our barn wedding later this year & his packages include an engagement shoot. My fiance & I are not comfortable in front of the camera, nor do we have any idea on how to position ourselves. Daryl gave us excellent feedback from the very first photo which helped us relax and take awesome photos! Sometimes he would pause to show us our photos in real-time, which would allow us to modify our positioning & take even better photos. With his direction, we were able to relax & have fun while improving the quality of our photos. I can't wait to see how our wedding photos come out, 10/10...
