Oh let me count the ways this place sucks.
Half the benches have rips. Been that way for months and months. Many of the machines are the same. I think their MO is see if it will fall off first completely before replacing. Speaking of machines. At any given time there is at least 3 machines broken. And spend months not being fixed. That’s cool. Didn’t want to work out at the gym anyways on that machine. Or the second same machine also broken. Showers. Well. 1 has been broken for a year. Not kidding. Only 1 stall has hooks as the other 2 have been ripped off the wall. And that’s right, been that way for MONTHS. Dogs. Apparently this gym is dog friendly. Not service dog. Just bring you dog. Awesome. Nothing like push-ups on the floor where a dog went to the bathroom. Lockers. Nothing like see half broken doors ripped off the hinges. You are what you attract. Didn’t know we’re going for low end product here. Sweet.
Now the 1 star? Staff. At least they’re nice and making due. But someone fire the manager. This is their issue and problem.
Now. You pay for what you get. And yes. It’s cheap. But this is a multi million dollar company and this franchisee CLEARLY has zero respect for their product. Corporate should do something. It’s a joke.

Showers finally getting fixed! Still missing hooks. They are slowly replacing the ripped benches on equipment. They removed the broken locker doors. I assume replacements are on back order. Machines actually got fixed so most now working.
Maybe I should apply here or travel to all their gyms to help shore things up?! Lol Oh you planet of fitness… ;)
Another update: they opened up the pockets and spent some money! New cardio equipment. Starting to replace torn weight seats. Very clear making the effort. Finally.
Another another update: really? This is the hill you’ll die on?! Just replace the broken, ripped off the wall towel hooks for the shower! Even the handicap stall one is missing. I mean come on. Nothing like leaving your stuff on a soaking wet floor because the $5 hooks are broken and missing… seriously. I’ll donate them. Smh…
Broken update… just like the towel hooks. Still. I think they’re leaving them broken on purpose. Like the moldy shower curtains. Like they don’t want you to actually use that part of the facility. That’s my only guess for not fixing this issue. Sad.

I went to there keosk and signed up an appt for the total enhancement...i then checked in ..the guy said there was a little wait and then he will activate it for me...ok sound like he was going to watch out for me...good that was nice ...so i waited in their vip room or what ever its called.. right next to the door...and when the other person walked out i walked in ...then it went soo bad...i got undress and steped into the room ..and i couldnt turn it on ...tried as i might nothing worked...so i called the front desk..and at first they told me i didnt have an appt..what ??? ..then that they see the appt but it was expired and i have to come up front and make one..what??? Im naked!!!!... i did make one already and i followed the proper steps!! I already checked in that appt!! But they would not hear any of it...when i put back on my clothes and..went to the front desk in my bare feet to see what happened ...they started to patronize me...they brought me to the same kohls keosk and told me i need to sign up for an appt here( exactly where i did) and how to do it.(whichi alredy did).and where to check in... it was SO embarrassing ..i even pointed out the person i spoke to..nothing ..and when i talked to the manager that was sooo unapologetic said that i need to make an appt and to check in..(which i DID!!!)and i need to tell THEM when the customer ahead of me left( wasnt that was what the phone call was) i was so humiliated!!!..it was not a case of that i did not know how to use thier machines. .. I cant belive they just wanted to parade me around like that..is it becuase im over wieght??.. they want to pull me out half dressed to expose me in public..i thought this was suppose to be a safe place to work out!!! Read moreI used to go to Gold’s. I was told this place had a cheaper member option so I went in. The guy was trying really hard to sell me on a black card membership but I told him I wanted the basic because I had no interest in paying the same price as I was at Gold’s. So the transaction is finished and I’m informed I’ll get a confirmation email within 48 hours, I never get it. Time for first payment to come out and almost $30 is deducted from my account. I was told the basic membership was $10/month. I call and I’m informed I signed up for the black card membership, I ask if I can get a refund because I did not choose that option, he says no but offers to change my account to the basic. Cool. So just to confirm, I go in to work out and ask the guy up front if my membership type got changed. He says no and informs me I need to speak to a manager. They’re there from 8-5, Monday-Friday. That’s my exact work schedule. I can’t go in. So I try to call the manager on a break at work and he says “Unfortunately I wasn’t here and I don’t know how the conversation went but we give customers options.” I tell him that I understand that but I told the original guy “I have no use for a black card membership, I’m not interested in classes or paying what I was paying at Gold’s. Why would I switch gyms and pay the same price for less equipment?” He repeats that he wasn’t there for the conversation and that he can change my membership type if I can “find time” to come in and it’ll cost even more money. So basically, I’ve had a membership here for a month and a half and I’m already out over $100 and I’ve received no help. I even emailed a month ago and have gotten no response.
