Nice place, polite staff, But if this is the best sushi place in Tricities I'm greatly disappointed. We ordered water, two spicy tuna hand rolls, Bento plate taginashi, Rainbow, and another I forget the name but it had only a small bit of unagi added to the inside of roll. Presintation was great and artfull.. Tuna hand rolls were spot on for design and contents but tuna treatment was lightly spiced. The big disappointment was the other rolls we tried where made from a basic roll design of imitation crab, sliver of avocado, sliver of cucumber. With different 1/8 inch shavings of salmon, tuna, mackerel, or avocado arranged in different patterns. Each serving had different sauces but rolls tasted the same. Prices where high relative to the base roll design problem. Bento plate this was acceptable but lack luster. The ginger to cleanse your palette served was like I have never had before it was a course grated or chopped. I have and prefer undied version, which it was. But it lacked the pleasant bold taste ginger should have. Although of the four sushi places I have tried in the Tricities to date this was the freshest, fastest, nicest atmosphere. Relative to my experience with sushi I will not be patronizing this restaurant again any time soon. Good sushi is hard to find and for $69.00 this should have been closer than it was. Still my all time favorite is on 107th ave, between 2nd and main streets in...

Quite an extensive menu. My hubby had the chicken yakiudon, it was flavored nicely with sesame & a warm seasoning mixture that was slightly sweet. The noodles were big & round, perfectly done. The chicken is well done. Loved this dish. My daughter ordered beef teriyaki dinner bento, with a whole california roll. Came with soup. Soup tasted very good. The salad dressing was a ginger, carrot, onion? Tempura was in a thin ,crispy batter with a salty dipping sauce. I ordered the Paradise roll, had shrimp tempura inside, avocado, cucumber, cream cheese with salmon & tuna on top. Presentation is lovely. I got a side of spicy mayo & eel/ unagi sauce.

Cute little place in a strip mall next to Planet Fitness.in Kennewick. The tables have a natural edge & a shiny lacquer with gold glitter in it. Very quaint & the employees made you feel welcome. I still have my favorite sushi...

My husband ordered Raman and the first time he was there it was way to spicy.. so he asked the server if they could not make it spicy and told her about the first time he ordered it. She assured him they could. When it came it was spicier then the first time. My husband never complained so I was shocked when she came back and asked how our meal was he told her it was too spicy. Told her he would just eat it and he tried but could not do it. So he mentioned to her again in a very polite way. She said she would take it off the ticket. When the check came it was still on the ticket. He told me next time he would order something else. It as like no one cared. We are retired and worked hard to be able to retire. When we left he said he would never come back. it was not the ticket, it was...

I went to lunch on a Thursday at about 11:30am. The restaurant wasn't crowded and the service was fast and attentive. I tried the chicken katsu with curry and the sweety roll. The katsu was crispy, the curry was delicious, and the food from the kitchen was hot and tasty. The sushi roll was disappointing. It wasn't super flavorful. It had light drizzle of whatever sauce was supposed to be on it. It is a deep fried roll, but it should have still had some flavor and not just texture. I will definitely try this place again.

Sushi Ya - Japanese Restaurant is a gem! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the dining experience truly enjoyable. The sushi chefs were on point, crafting some of the best sushi I’ve ever tasted. The sashimi was fresh and melted in my mouth. The Daniel and Hawaiian Rolls were both standout dishes—flavorful and beautifully presented. This place is perfect for a sushi night out and especially for a romantic date night. Highly recommend!
