Maui Banyan Resort — Hotel in Maui

Our 5-night stay at the Maui Banyan Resort's unit H205, starting February 23, 2024, was an unforgettable experience. Perfectly situated just steps from the beach and close to local restaurants and shops, the condo's location made exploring the island effortless and enjoyable. Each morning greeted us with sun-soaked beaches, while evenings offered leisurely walks to nearby attractions. The condo itself impressed with its beautiful design and comprehensive amenities, ensuring our utmost comfort and relaxation. Nestled in South Kihei, opposite Kamaole Beach II, the resort is surrounded by lush tropical foliage and features amenities such as swimming pools, jet spas, tennis courts, and barbecue areas. The convenience of having ocean activities, dining, and shopping within walking distance, coupled with the condo's clean, well-appointed interior, made our stay truly special. T108A was sooooo crappie none of the lights would turn on correctly...the bed side light would get hot and I actually burnt myself on it....the screen door had holes in it ...the beds were extremely small and uncomfortable AND they were on wheels so they would roll when u got on them. The TV remote was broken and the there was only sheets on the beds...the mirrors and pictures on the walls were all crooked and when we moved the dresser there was a bunch of plaster and other stuff underneath it. Kinda a dump...especially for the price....also the parking is ridiculous the spots are all reserved for people that own condos...making you park in a multi level garage and having to walk a distance to your room. This also isn't an actual hotel and there is no towel service or house keeping and when u need something it may take several days for it to come. 2 roaches were in our room also...we stayed in 3 hotels on 3 islands and the other two were beautiful. My husband and I came to Maui for our honeymoon. We had booked another accommodation in Kihei, however due to weather they were damaged and we could no longer stay there. We were able to get accommodation very quickly and we were never disappointed!! Jessica, was fantastic in making sure we got everything we needed and more. She upgraded our room with an ocean view, gave us some nice chocolates and congratulated us on just getting married. Grounds are beautiful and right across the street from the ocean. Great shops and restaurants within...
