My wife and I wanted to try paddleboarding for the first time, so we started out at Boss Frog's. The guy there had a condescending tone when answering all our questions and tried hard to sell us on an $80 class just to learn how to stand on a paddleboard. (which it turns out is NOT that complicated) We asked questions about life jacket rentals along with the paddleboard, and the possibility of paying for the rental in advance, dropping our cell phones/wallets off at our hotel a block away, and coming back to pick up the paddleboards. He acted like these questions were ludicrous and he'd never heard them before in his life. That's what led us to walking out and heading to Auntie Snorkel...

When we entered Auntie Snorkel, we were greeted in a very friendly manner, even when the employee was busy helping another customer. After he freed up, he answered all our questions, allowed us to pay in advance, (just as we had asked about at Boss Frog's) and he asked if we wanted life jackets before we got the chance to ask ourselves. He also gave us some free quick tips on how to get started, (again, there's not much to it - just takes a little practice to get the balance down) and let us take the equipment out a little longer than we had paid for, rounding up on the time.
