Maui Banyan Condo Rental — Local services in Maui

The owner/hostess has the VRBO Maui Banyon Condo G 310 and it was extremely clean and taken care of. The owner/hostess was professional and it was easy to check in (door code) parking was plentiful. The owner/hostess had everything we would need to enjoy our stay in the condo. When I arrived I wiped counters down with Clorox wipe for precaution and the wipe didn’t collect not one bit of dust, the cleaning crew gave us a spotless condo. The location is perfect. OGG is a 20 min drive. The condo is located across the street to the beach, and the condo is located within walking distance to cafes and restaurants. When we were there the maintenance crew was always in the building cleaning or working on it so it’s well taken care off. We didn’t go into the pool but they have one. I recommend staying here. This place is very conveniently located. You are right across the street from an amazing beach. We had close encounters with sea turtles every time we went.

Restaurants and a small grocery store are in walking distance. Bigger grocery stores are a short drive away. It was a 30 min drive to Paia to start the Road to Hana drive.

The staff is so friendly. The facility has parking and 2 pools. There are a few soda machines. 1 can of soda is $2.00.

Each condo is independently owned. Our room had a bed and a sofa bed. There was a balcony. The condo owner had beach chairs an umbrella, and cooler for use. The unit had a full kitchen, as well as a small washer and dryer.

There are tasks expected at checkout to avoid fees: empty trash into outside dumpster, start dishwasher with used dishes, sweep up excess sand.

This place is completely mismanaged and a dysfunctional mess.

We didn't have a room number when we went to check in and after calling multiple phone numbers we finally got in touch with Maui Banyan Condo Rental.

They only gave us partial information and we had to call them again to get the door codes to our suite.

We booked a king plus 2 twin suite - and this is what they gave us on the first night. However, in the morning housekeeping came around to evict us from one of the rooms!

They tried to convince us that we had only booked one room and told us 'they had other guests coming'.

Long story short: unacceptably bad, completely mismanaged and utterly dysfunctional customer service. The Condo Rental agency (under Castle) has no staff on-site besides housekeeping. Do...
