We decided to give this place a try, especially once we saw the sign that said "we ship anywhere in the U.S." I mean if they are shipping anywhere in the U.S they must be doing something right and YEP, they are. First, there are no places to sit inside this little bakery and depending on when you arrive the line could be 5 people long or it could be 50, either way the cinnamon roll is worth the wait. There is some limited seating outside or you can take them back to your la'nai to enjoy or walk across to the beach. The rolls are prepared fresh so if you get to the front to place your order and she says it will be 8-10 mins for fresh ones, then you just SCORED the big bonus, as they will come out piping hot and the nice lady behind the counter will then dip them in this luscious golden brown sugar goodness. Now granted that is not all this is just the first step next you can top this off with cream cheese frosting which is just another way to shoot you up with sugar direct into your veins, or top it off with macadamia nuts all of these are additional costs but in grand scheme of things well worth the additional miscual cost. If you want something savory they have a selection of breakfast sandwiches from hawaiian ham, sausage or SPAM, yep that is correct a good ole crescent sandwich with folded egg, cheese and spam, life is good!! They also have several different brews of coffee "cold or hot" along with soft drinks including coke, which is a commodity on the island as most restaurants are...

Just because it's busy and you're on amazing vacation doesn't mean this place is good. It must just be the only bakery available.
We read the reviews and heard great things about it so we went there and ordered 1/2 dozen cinnamon rolls to take back to our hotel to the rest of our party. They were extremely overpriced already and then the had the gall to charge an additional $.75 for a tablespoon of what they called cream cheese frosting (times 6) We paid over $30 for this even after we got a deal of buy 5 get 1 free.
We got back to the room and everyone was excited because the rolls were big and definitely gooey. Unfortunately the taste didn't match the look or aroma. They were overcooked on the bottom. The flavor was only so so. The glaze/frosting wasn't nearly enough and it definitely wasn't cream cheese. It was just powered sugar and a little bit of milk. Plus shouldn't cinnamon rolls come with a glaze without having to pay an additional $4.50?
I've had much better cinnamon rolls for 1/4 the price. Save your money and get something else. Sorry, I love to support the local businesses but this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSorry but I wasn't impressed. Call me boring but I REALLY like Cinnabon. The cinnamon rolls here are much different, much softer, sorta like a yeast roll and they have no frosting on them unless you buy frosting and, speaking of which... The "cream cheese frosting" (for which there's an additional charge) is NOT cream cheese frosting at all. It's runny and tastes nothing like real cream cheese frosting. The frosting that comes in store bought cinnamon rolls is much better IMHO. Lastly, the Americano coffee I had was so WEAK that I trashed it and went to Starbucks for a good, strong coffee. Having said all of the above, I would go back to try their bagels and their other breakfast/lunch items ~ they looked good. Be advised, this is pretty much a take out place only. There are maybe four little tables on the sidewalk outside of the shop but during the morning rush, "fuggetaboutit..." - the tables are already taken. The place is popular though; it appeared that many/most folks are staying at hotels/condos close by and walk over. I'm probably in the minority but I won't go back for either coffee or...
