Was not entirely pleased with my stay given how much I paid for. Hotels up the street run the same price (roughly) and are way nicer. Pros: Close to the beach and right about where you want to be for nights out on the town and days on the beach. During my stay the AC was cold and the water ran hot and cold. The bedsheets were actually clean and no signs of infestations. (At least in our room on the 3rd floor) Compliments end here. Cons: I hope you're sitting down. The room was archaic to say the least, outdated furniture, beds that sound like an earthquake and noises you can here from below you from other guests. Shockingly, I counted at least 2 other occupants who were there during the time of my stay on a Saturday night throughout the whole building. And even then you could here anyone coming up the stairs and the halls, you could hear people downstairs (we were on the 3rd floor) The plaster on the wall is decaying, the buildings on opposite sides are shuttered and the amount of homeless loiterers were innumerable either directly out front or right next door. In the stairwell there are exposed wires with a small desk fan that appears to be on to keep them cool. As a firefighter that was my first major red flag as well as someone already asking for a refund upon check in. Another red flag. I did not bother to turn on the television but based upon the totality of the other circumstances I would not be too eager to expect good cable or channels. The most modern item in the room is the mini fridge, that was cold during our stay. Summary: The building is archaic, I wouldnt say in shambles but not at all up to modern hotel standards. There are no good views as far as I'm aware, and the furnishings and other items are 40 years outdated. Will not be returning to this location. I suggest you head the innumerable warnings from the other reviews. 2 stars because I have seen worse and it was an 'operable' base of operations during my stay in Miami.

A Cautionary Tale for Travelers — Please Read Before Booking I rarely write reviews, but my experience at the Paris Hotel demands transparency for future guests. In short: this property is not what is advertised, and it falls significantly below even basic hospitality standards. The room bore no resemblance to the description. While the bathroom appeared recently updated, the rest of the space felt neglected and dated. There was no functioning air-conditioning, leaving the room uncomfortably hot, and the in-room safe did not work. Most concerning, there was no hot water — a fundamental amenity one reasonably expects at any modern hotel. The issues extended far beyond the room itself. The elevator was unreliable, the lobby was extremely warm and poorly maintained, and the overall environment felt unsafe. Throughout the night there were heated altercations and threats in the hallway, and outside the property individuals were shouting and making violent threats. At one point, I genuinely questioned my safety. After hours of noise, heat, and escalating concerns about security, I made the decision to leave in the middle of the night — something I have never had to do before while traveling. In summary, this hotel failed to meet basic comfort, accuracy, and safety expectations. I strongly urge travelers to consider alternative accommodations.

Avoid this place, and it's sister hotel next door, the Geneva. Over $200 a night, mold in the bathroom, mold on the AC ducts, stains on the towels. AC wasn't very adjustable because the thermostat has been painted over. A very loud hallway, you will hear every door slam shut all night long. They charge to hold your bags, the lobby is full of filling boxes. No pool. Wifi drops constantly, not suitable for remote work. I had to use my phone hotspot to join zoom calls. The kitchenette was a sink, coffee maker (no mugs), and mini fridge. No microwave, no burner, no way to heat food at all. Each day I overheard other guests arguing with the staff about how their rooms were also gross. They mentioned mold, noisy mattress, stains, the same things I experienced. No more then 2 channels would come in clear on the tv. No streaming or Chromecast. It is close to the beach. That's all it has going for it. Check my profile, I normally only give 5 star reviews. I have stayed at other art deco hotels on Collins ave, they are charming. At one of these hotels I would not expect the same experience as a modern building. This place just sucks, it's just old, it's not historic or quaint or anything like that.

First and foremost I will tell you your MONEY IS BETTER SPENT ELSEWHERE! This hotel is a SLUM with dirty sheets, TERRIBLE customer service, no cable, no thermostat in the room, and paper-thin walls. If you pay for a Queen bed you will probably get a full that has dirty itchy sheets. The carpet was ghastly thin and disgusting. There was a used wet wash-cloth left in our room (from lord knows what). The towels are scratchy and ridiculously thin, as is the toilet paper.

Allow me to explain why I have come to write this extremely poor review (the first time I have written one, but I am so disgusted by my experience from the Parisian Hotel I feel it is my duty to save others from going through this). We are a couple in our 20's, and don't expect much when it comes to the luxuries of travel. We stayed at the Parisian Hotel last Friday night, and on our entrance into the room we were less than impressed. In fact, I have stayed at nicer hotels in Mexico for $26 (this one cost us about $126 after taxes). Regardless, we didn't expect much for this price on Miami Beach and were fine with a little dirt. However, the bed sheets had little black hairs on them (use your imagination), I sincerely believe our pillows were just bags full of cotton balls, and our "Queen sized bed", was an old worn-out Full size. This still wasn't the worst thing that could happen, and being young and poor is part of life so C'est la vie! It wasn't until the hotel refused to refund us our $50 deposit because they said we had a late check-out, that I had to put my foot down and tell anyone who may be considering staying here that this hotel is a (fill in the blank) hole, and the management have no regard for COMMON HUMAN DECENCY. We checked out at 9:30 in the morning. An hour and a half before checkout time. As we were waiting to give the lady behind the desk our keys, (i believe she was having computer issues with trying to check in or out the people in front of us) I walked up and asked if i could leave her our keys and that we were checking out from room 6. She said it was fine and that she would take care of it. Next thing I know they say we checked out late and are keeping our $50 deposit. I have called multiple times to try to remedy the situation. I spoke with "Alex" who said that his manager "Todd" would have to check the tapes to prove this. That would be completely fine with me, and it would prove that we checked out early, but they can't seem to get around to checking the tapes. When I asked him to refer to the lady behind the counter he told me she was old and wouldn't remember! Now when I try to call they put me on hold or tell me the manager is busy. This Hotel is full of rude money hungry people who don't care about having clean rooms for their guests, nor do they care about the experience you take away from staying there. I am sure they are used to tourists who they will never see again, but I urge you to spend your hard-earned money elsewhere. Places like this shouldn't be allowed...

They get a big fat zero....... ME AND TEN OF MY FRIENDS HAD TO GO TO THIS HOTEL BECAUSE THE ONE WE BOOKED THE CAVALIER ON 13TH AND OCEAN HAD A FIRE. WE WAITED FOR 7 HOURS BEFORE WE WERE TOLD TO GO TO THIS HOTEL. AS WE CHECKED IN IT WAS REQUIRED THAT WE LEAVE A 100.00 DEPOSIT.. SO I DID.... WITH THE PROMISE WE WOULD GET IT BACK... WE LEFT THE HOTEL MONDAY MORNING AT 11AM SO MY SISTER COULD TRY TO CATCH A FLIGHT AT 1:50PM ON A BUDDY PASS. DIDN'T HAPPEN BUT BY THEN I WAS ALREADY IN WEST PALM BEACH. I MADE RESERVATIONS FOR HER TO STAY AT ANOTHER HOTEL BY THE AIRPORT SO SHE CAN GET ON THE MORNING FLIGHT TUESDAY. THE 100.00 DEPOSITED POSTED ON MY ACCOUNT WHICH ACTUALLY SHOULD OF DROPPED. SO I KEEP CALLING CANT GET ANY HELP WHEN I DO THEY SAY SINCE THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT TIME WE CHECKED OUT THEY ARE KEEPING 25.00 OF THE 100.00... I WENT TO GO GET MY CAR AT 10:30 SO I DON'T REALLY KNOW WHAT MY SISTER DID AT THE DESK OR NOT... JUST TO MAKE THE PROCESS GO FASTER I SAID OKAY JUST GIVE ME THE 75.00 BACK 6 DAYS LATER NOTHING.... I HAD TO GO BACK DOWN THERE WITH THE POLICE TO TRY AND GET MY MONEY. THE POLICE TOLD ME THAT THEY HAVE BEEN TO THIS HOTEL ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS REGARDING THIS MATTER WHICH REALLY IS SAD CONSIDERING THEY MADE SO MUCH MONEY OVER A WHOLE HOTEL OF PEOPLE HAVING TO MOVE OVER THERE DUE TO A FIRE.... THE LADY AT THE DESK TRIED TO PLAY STUPID BUT EVEN THE OFFICERS RECOGNIZED THAT SHE KNEW MORE THAN WHAT SHE WAS SAYING...ANYWAYS I LEFT STILL WITHOUT MY MONEY BUT, WITH SOME ADVICE FROM THE POLICE.... ON MY WAY BACK TO WEST PALM I DECIDED TO KEEP BLOWING THE PHONE UP UNTIL SOMEONE ANSWERED WHO COULD HELP ME... FINALLY, RAHUL ANSWERED THE PHONE KNEW THE WHOLE STORY AND SAID THAT HE WOULD HELP.... HE CALLED ME BACK AND SAID THAT HE HAS DONE THE TRANSACTION TO RETURN THE MONEY AND I'M WAITING TO SEE.......... FOR THE FUTURE OUT OF TOWNERS..... PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE..... ITS SAD BECAUSE 10 OF THE 20 PEOPLE THAT MOVED TO THIS HOTEL WAS MY FRIENDS AND WE WILL NOT BE BACK... WE COULD OF BEEN NEW BUSINESS HAD THE PROPER ACTIONS BEEN TAKEN THE...
