I booked the violet room because I saw this place has pretty good reviews. However I was very disappointed. After checking in we quickly noticed the AC doesn’t work in our room. After the maintenance person coming to adjust the AC temperature, it still doesn’t work. I guess they know it doesn’t work that’s why they put out lots of box fans in the room. Mind you it gets really hot in Moab, the afternoon we checked it was 107 degrees. You are also required to pay a hot tub fee, but when I open up the hot tub cover the water smells like it hasn’t been opened for months, just really unfresh with some white foams on top. I appreciate the fact that in the room they have a washer and dryer, but once we open the washer we can see molds on the rubber seal by the washer door. Due to no AC we had to cancel the remainder of our reservation after staying there one night. They are communicative over the phone and agreed to cancel and refund, but only the room fee. With the one night room fee and cleaning fee and taxes and hot tub fee it accumulated to be way above the average hotel cost in the area. We were disappointed...
Read moreI LOVED Stella Ruby Cottages! Definitely the best place to stay in Moab! One block from Main Street and only two blocks to the Love Muffin for coffee/breakfast. It was tucked away and quiet but conveniently located near the action of town when you need something. We stayed in Scarlet. We loved our cute, quiet, clean and quirky cottage that provided everything we needed and more - a great home away from home for a few days. There was a small kitchen that we could have made meals along with fresh coffee beans and coffee maker too. It is the best place to stay if you are traveling in a group and rent all 3 units where you can all have your own space, but hang out together in the backyard with a glass of wine and sit in the hottub under the stars after a long active day or join everyone in the larger cottage (Hazel) where there is more room for a group gathering to have dinner and watch tv together. I loved everything about it and can't wait to go back to...

A channel guide for the TV would have been helpful. Although I felt safe, would have been more comfortable with a deadbolt lock on door. Seemed too easy to access.
Make sure you are contacted at least a few days prior to your arrival to get key box code or you won’t be able to access your room! I, somehow, got overlooked but eventually got in by placing...
