I came to this area for business, I asked if there was a quiet area or corner room, I had a daughter with autism, I was given a key to two rooms for view, I quickly returned them to manager in office & said "nevermind", there was a guy in the room between those two rooms, he had his door opened & sleeping. As I went to leave, the manager came out of office & said, "come with me to another room", romm146, king bed& couch, he would give to me at a discount price of $57 a night, plus tax.He reassured me that he wouldn't put anyone in the room next to me because of noise for my daughter. This hotel was empty, only a couple cars here. Not long after getting into our room & cleaning it, it was not sanitizer, I had to shut the window because of the guys that just came in from working&talking loud outside by our door, they went to rooms few doors down&was very loud. The next morning, Friday April 17th, with a few hours of sleep from noise, I got woke up to a car alarm going off for a long time outside our door, it was the maintence guy that works there. He let his alarm go off for awhile. Friday night we had left to store & when we got back there's people that manager just checked into the room right above us. These people didn't sleep until 2am& were in &out of room all night, stomping on the floor making my daughter upset, this started at 10pm, my calls to office went ignored. The next morning,sat.18th, we were woke up to the maid cleaning room above us, stomping on floor &at times, banging the vacuum cleaner around. Sat night, the manager checked people in to the room above us at 1am, Sunday morning, yelling, stomping on floor, my calls to office went ignored. I went to office &rang Bell, the manager said he had to put those people above me because they needed two beds&those are only upstairs. He said if the noise bothered my daughter then we could move to another room, I told him that I wasn't going to do that to my daughter at 2am in the morning. After two more calls to the office, he finally went upstairs &moved these people over one room, he said he had to help them move their belongings. Ok with two guys up there & a woman & whoever else, I find it hard to believe they needed help moving anything, I didn't even go there with him because I could tell he was lying. These people stayed up all night partying, I didn't see any cars in the parking lot& asked him where did these people come from?? Off the street?? I also said "what kind of people do you rent your room's too?" He told me they needed two beds. I finally saw a car come in @3am, another one left this property from the back at 2:30am. These guys were still up outside at 5am. The manager told me before he moved them not to worry, they came from the Bay area& were only here for one night. This hotel was empty except for the workers a few rooms down from me& a few cars parked up front, checking people in rooms right above us was uncalled for in the middle of the night, I recorded & took pics. I noticed other people that were staying there Wich was family or friends. This was a unsafe place to stay especially with children. With only a few hours of sleep, we checked out Sunday& told them I wanted the rest of my money refunded back that I already payed for the two additional nights. There's a law not to rent room's for leisure, Wich this hotel is ignoring. There's other stuff found in room Wich can make anyone sick but will not say on here, I'm saving it for something else. Anyone who stays here can be putting you & your family at risk, health & safety wise. Be smart &...
Read moreWas supposed to have a wonderful 4 day getaway with my mom for my birthday. It did not turn out that way. This hotel looks lovely in pictures online and is not cheap (money wise) by any means- when we got there we could hardly tell where the entrance was and it's much less appealing in person. I actually had a bad feeling about our room the second we walked in but they couldn't switch us as the hotel was booked that weekend. It looked and felt unclean. It had a funny smell and there was still pee stains on the toilet from the previous guests. I tried really hard to look past all that as I really wanted to enjoy our weekend. Lo and behold I find a bug on the side of the bed that night. I at first thought it was a baby cockroach which made me want to throw up. My mom convinced me she was sure it was nothing. Sunday morning, I woke up with itchy welts all over my arms and legs and stomach. I lost it. We checked the sheets and found a few dead bed bugs in the sheets as well. I'm so livid. This ruined our entire trip. I'm horrified and have been sanitizing and washing everything we brought since we got back (we cut our trip early - there was no way we could stay a minute longer) and it's taken way too much time up of the time I should be spending with my mom while she's here. I dont believe this hotel is very thorough with their cleaning process of the rooms. I should have listened to my initial first instinct and booked it out of there as fast as I could the first day....
Read moreProfessional and courteous reception at check-in. Nice hot beverage maker in lobby. Room clean and bright. Glad to see the sturdy doormat in front of all rooms; lets us help keep floors cleaner during our stays. Pleasing room decor. Microwave needs a grippy something to prevent it from sliding around when pushing any buttons. Fridge setting is so cold that it freezes items one doesn't want frozen; I was unable to find a temperature control dial. The shower is visually appealing with good water pressure. Ample lighting and power outlets around the room. In the bathroom, with only one towel bar on the wall, towels-in-use compete for space with unused towels. No breakfast; at the motel's off-season price point, I'm ok with this, particularly since any breakfast would likely be the typical sugar-centric fare that I can't eat, anyway, although I wouldn't be averse to a bowl of apples or oranges at the check-in counter. An incline in the walkway near my room calls for a painted line to alert users of the slope to prevent stumbles forward. NOTE: I had only one bar for cell service throughout my stay. I learned upon checkout that this may be due to the motel's proximity to...
