Stay here. Seriously, you need to stay here. Everything about this Inn has been thought about in great detail. The decor and room furnishings are done so tastefully with not an ounce of too much beach theme. Everything was clean and truly immaculate. The view from the balcony is something really special: You get to people watch on kayaks/boats/sup and you get to watch the marine life as well. (There were otters outside every morning having breakfast!) The bed was very comfortable, albeit a little warm for my liking but that's just because I'm not a fan of memory foam and the pillows were soft and dreamy. The TV pulled out from the wall so you can sit comfortably in bed with the balcony door open and not get a glare. (Also, my husband was very happy to see that we could connect the playstation and watch netflix and he could also play COD while I journaled on the balcony). The manager had left us a note in our room upon check-in which really makes the entire stay feel that much more personable. The entire Inn staff really make you feel at home. The shower was HUGE and the bathroom lighting and vanity mirror were perfect. The towels were so soft. The location is perfect too. Right in the middle of the embarcadero, everything within walking distance. Honestly, I could go on and on about this room.
The ONLY little thing I'd mention that I didn't love and could potentially be changed if they see fit, it might be nice to have some sort of curtain you can pull closed between the balconies? It was slightly awkward when people were right next door on their balcony at the same time. This would NOT stop me from coming back but just something I wanted to mention.
Please, do yourself a favor and stay here, you will not regret it. I will remember this Inn and the memories made this weekend fondly. I cannot wait...
Read moreWe just returned from a week's coast road trip with stops in Santa Barbara, Carmel, and Big Sur with our last being at Rosie's Inn Morro Bay which my wife had booked online.||The street appearance gives no indication of what comfort and ambience awaits within; from the very friendly staff welcome along with a complimentary selection of|fine bottled wines & boxed chocolates to the beautiful interior remodeling completed in the past few years with nautical art and local photos, blended with soothing pastel colors throughout.||Hotel access is complimented with luggage carts and an elevator for upstair rooms, a morning continental breakfast of juices, yogurts, hard boiled eggs, fruit, rolls & coffee is also included.||In strolling the town for possible dining eateries (of which there are many to choose from), the hotel offers a substantial discount at Rosie's Bar & Grill right at the water's|edge. We were pleasantly surprised at the expansive menu, service and quality of|dishes (try the Ahi tostadas, most excellent!) with easy access right thru the hotel.||Our bay facing balcony room was immaculate and well appointed with a most comfortable bed & cozy comforter, and a spacious bathroom with double sinks.||With a front row seat view of Morro Rock, the sailboats swinging on their moorings, and the seals barking on their floating dock, a more perfect ending to our dream vacation could not be more imaginable.||We thank Steve and the rest of their staff for a most memorable experience, we will be back!||C & C,...
Read moreWeren't sure what to expect. Always wary when Lodging is in the center of the action and rooms are located above a bar and restaurant..but we were pleasantly surprised. Parking was near..but not extremely convenient. We were enthusiastically greeted upon entry into the small lobby and offered a 'complimentary' bottle of wine (from a half dozen choices) and a box of chocolates from Kelli's next door. Our room was number 25..second floor. It took a little getting used to..but soon we found it to be very special. It was fresh and clean..not used hard yet. It didn't have much of a bay view from the room, however, it had an electric 'fireplace' in front of the bed that operated by a remote. It had a fairly large private patio with comfortable seating, rectangular gas fire pit (plus large umbrella and privacy shades, if desired)....wonderful for morning coffee or cooler sunset evenings. The private patio had a gate onto another semi private patio with high top tables and chairs where you could gaze over Morro Bay with your wine and cheese and listen to the sea lions in the bay....which we did. The sounds from the neighboring night life was very mild and done by 9pm-ish. One surprise..they have no daily houskeeping (during COVID19) if you're staying for more...
