Wonderful, Wonderful staff here. They were helpful in booking, over the phone, and walking me through an accurate availability. They assisted in letting me know parking arrangements in the area, and we're great with the check-in. I received accurate information about the texts I would receive to check in, and great attention was taken to my arrival time in ensuring the room was ready. The rooms were exactly as i expected, a minimalistic/almost industrial style. The kitchen has an electric stove top, a microwave, cooking, and eating utensils/plates. medium size fridge with an actual freezer. Flat screen television and very good internet (2 of us could play Blood Strike or Call of Duty) There is a wardrobe and available beach towels, shamoo/conditioner, lotion, a coffeemaker. A washer and dryer is available for use, ($1.50 to wash and $1 to dry, machine was surprisingly clean for a hotel on the beach 👍. *Be aware these are open hallways to the direct outside, only the office and rooms are inside, a keycard is used to access the pool, office, and area with the rooms (of course your room)* I could see the beach from my window, partial view was perfect for me, kept noise down, but I still had a balcony to view the sunrise. The bed was a comfortable king, with plenty of pillows, comforters , and soft sheets. There is a lil dinner table with chairs, a couple chairs on the balcony. Overall, it is a fairly quiet place, aside from occasional neighboring tourists, we visited prime summer weekend so it was understandable to little we heard on site, which was only for a few moments. I am thrilled this was a non-smoking property❣️ it seems this Was upheld (unlike some big names I frequent) The swimming pool is perfect for relaxing after the beach day, 2 convenient showers for rinsing off, one by the pool and another at the entrance to the pool. I appreciated that it appears many used it for there was hardly and sand in the pool. The place has a certain charm to it, holding up under all the newer larger companies. Location is prime, a 6-10 minute walk to the Ripleys, 20-minute walk to the Aquarium, and either direction is a Ben & Jerry's ice cream or a coffee shop. It's an absolute pleasure staying here with how wonderfully we were treated here, Thank you Beverly Beach House, Thank You❣️

A little background, my father passed away from cancer back in April, and I have “needed” the calmness of the ocean ever since. This past weekend was my mine and my husbands anniversary and it worked out we could spend the weekend at Myrtle Beach When staying at new place I read all the reviews I can. It stresses me out because what one person doesn’t mind, someone else hates and will give a low star rating. Hopefully this will help someone reading reviews like me 😊 The lady who checked us in was extremely nice (I wish I could remember her name!) We walked in our room and it was beautiful. Very simple but beautiful. We were on the second floor but still had an amazing view of the ocean. The room did not have carpet, which is good because let’s just admit carpet can be nasty, but it also means that when walking you feel every grain of sand. The floor had been freshly mopped, but felt a little “sticky” (probably from the cleaner). The floors we also a bit slippery. It’s true the rooms do not have phones, but you can text the front desk which I liked a lot more! The walls are a bit thin. Our first night there was a very very fussy toddler in the room beside us. You can also hear other doors opening and closing during the night. The door only has 1 lock. I would rather have a second lock like most places, but I also never felt unsafe. One set of stairs are very narrow and steep. There is also an elevator and a second set of stairs on the other side of the building you can use. The location is close to coffee shops and some restaurants so you can easily walk to eat breakfast or lunch. They do not have daily housekeeping service, but there are plenty of towels (and that’s all I care about. I’d rather make my own bed 😂) The rooms are a little old looking, but nothing a fresh coat of paint can’t fix. The only complaints I really had in my room was the toilet seat didn’t stay up (that was more my husbands complaint) and the drain stopper thing in the bath didn’t work. This is super long, but hopefully it helps someone Overall our stay was amazing and we would absolutely stay here again!!

This was my first time staying at Beverly Beach House. I usually like smaller and more eclectic hotels, so I booked a King Room with Ocean View. I will say that the hotel representatives communicated very well with me up to the day of my arrival. It was a contact-less check-in, so I received several text message instructions on how to get into the building and retrieve my room key. It was definitely a bit irritating having this kind of check-in process, it's a bit informal for me. The room was very spacious and had a nice modern deco-design. The room door was not very secure when I closed it, so I made sure I used the dead bolt lock. There was a working space that was useful since I was doing some work on my laptop. There is wood flooring throughout the room, which was a big plus. The balcony had two chairs and I was close to the pool area, which didn't give me the privacy I wanted. The downside of my stay was that the WI-FI was very slow. The bathroom was extremely small and shower was horrible! The shower head was old and the water-pressure was very low. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were cheap and not fluffy at all. The corners in the room were dirty and dusty. Overall, based on stay, I probably wouldn’t book this hotel again.

The idea of the hotel is nice but, it was not a very good experience. My family and I stayed here during my daughter‘s cheer competition. First the elevator was a little shaky and very fast. We get to the suite and It was not really clean. The dishwasher was leaking water. Also, you cannot open the oven. We told the receptionist what happened. So she assigned us a different room. It was just as dirty! We said its just for one night deal and when back to the suite room with water in the floor. Later on when it was time for my husband to take a shower. Something was wrong with the water pressure. Also the water was extremely cold. Then we discovered the heat wasn’t working well. My husband called the front desk to tell her what was going on, so she sent someone to come fix it, the man came was extremely rude, didn’t speak and seem like it was the last place he wanted to be. So I went downstairs to see if the man was coming back to fix the shower because he left without saying anything. The front lady was extremely nonchalant. Then for some reason the unfriendly handy man started yelling me. Told me Lowe’s was closed, so basically our shower nor heat wasn’t going to get fixed!! I feel very uncomfortable and shocked how they treated me. Then I told my husband what happened and he was furious! Then he went to talk to them and came back upstairs and said hey let’s pack up her stuff and then we saw our daughter sleeping. We didn’t wanna wake her up, she had a big day the next day! Nothing of this was our fault, it’s your was fault that things were not working properly and you didn’t have the things you needed to fix things! You should’ve not put that on me. I just felt like that’s not how you treat customers. Never got an apology. No hot shower that night nor good heat! We slept in our clothes Originally we had planned to stayed an extra night but after this stay from hell. We’ve decided to go home right after our daughter‘s cheer competition. So we packed up stuff and leave the hotel by 6am, check out wasn’t until 11am I think. We would never stay here again. We wanted to leave and go somewhere else but they wouldn’t give us a full refund. Just $50 was credited back and that’s it!! Obviously they need the money! They need to paint, fix the appliances, offer some kind of amenities if you book a suite, Professional trainer on customer service and a new handyman! I’ve never been treated so poorly at a hotel. Rather sleep in my car then ever stay...
