📍 The Ellie Beach Resort - Myrtle Beach, SC We kicked off my birthday weekend with a staycation at The Ellie Beach Resort, part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is a 30-acre oceanfront destination along the South Carolina coast just steps from the beach and moments from the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. Originally founded in 1948 by Col. Elliott White Springs as a seaside retreat for employees of Springs Industries, the resort has evolved into a modern vacation destination with historic charm, spacious rooms and suites, and waterfront dining. Guests enjoy a range of amenities, including five pools (indoor and outdoor), a lazy river, three water slides, a new splash pad for families, a fitness center, a game room, complimentary Putt-Putt, cabana rentals, and events such as live music, bingo and social mixers. The pet-friendly resort offers daily programming for all ages, such as beach yoga, family games, fishing clinics, and hands-on culinary activities like pizza making and mocktail pairing dinners. Kids can enjoy the covered play area, “Barnacles,” while adults unwind at the poolside bar during daily happy hours.
