Ironically, I wasn't going to do this. However, Google suggested I write a review. On Tuesday, the manager had my vehicle towed from the lot. I was parked in a handicapped parking spot with the appropriate handicap/disabled veteran license plates. The store policy is parking for customers only. I understood this. However, I did not understand that there was a time limit for being a customer. Imagine my surprise when I exit my doctor's appointment to be greeted with the fact my vehicle had been towed. This resulted in me walking on my severely physically handicapped legs. And then paying roughly 517 dollars to retrieve my vehicle. Maybe I should have taken 30 seconds to purchase a drink before my appointment. My mistake in thinking someone would be understanding and empathize with the situation, I digress.
I had spoken with a wonderful empathetic woman from corporate. She was genuinely great to speak with and completely agreed with my views, disappointment, and frustration. She actually commended me for handling the situation with grace.
However, my experience with the "regional" manager who then called me was completely different. I found him to be rude, arrogant, and disrespectful. He rudely informed me that he gives everyone a time limit of roughly 30-45 minutes. I found this ironic because two weeks ago, I actually did the same thing, and my vehicle wasn't towed then. Previous to that, on the day of my surgical procedure, I actually got food from the restaurant after my procedure
They tried to tow my vehicle on the day of my surgery as well, the towing company informed me of this, and my friend who was waiting for me had told me a tow truck had circled the lot on more than one occasion, there is a legal term for this as this is actually illegal in metropolitan Nashville.
Maybe I made a mistake by not getting my lunch before my appointment. I was almost late. I live over an hour and a half away in kentucky. My appointment was at 2 p.m. and I pulled into the lot at 1:55, and he can confirm this as he informed me with his condescending tone that he reviews surveillance footage, maybe he can go back and watch my friend order us lunch after my surgery 3 weeks ago when he initially attempted to have my vehicle towed.
People like this manager are the exact reason why everyone is so angry and hateful in this world. Find a little kindness, empathy, and understanding. I hope you have a good life and that you're happy, and if you're not, I hope you find the peace you need . With kind regards, the physically handicapped person whose vehicle you had towed.
Treat others how you would like to be treated. You may find that some people just require a little more patience than others.
Also, it's important to know the food I had been served previously was not fresh, the drinks were watered-down as if the syrup mix was not correct, and the restrooms were absolutely disgusting. I have been to this location 5 times in my life, and each time was more disappointing than the previous. The corporation should look at this location for cleanliness and product quality assurance.
Lastly, you are a product of those you surround yourself by. There is a reason that Express Towing Nashville has such a poor reputation in the community, and this reflects poorly on Cook Out for utilizing a contracted service through them. It almost seems like a kickback scam. Maybe corporate should investigate that before...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCookout use to be the go to spot for good quality, fresh fast food. Yesterday(night) was not pleasant. Rafaela had great customer service and wonderful smile. Manager Chad, not sure if he was training; just looked plain face but still pleasant. Now the problem is with the food. Lately my orders have not been right. I drive from Antioch because this is or was a favorite location.( I am fully aware of where all other locations are.) I ordered milkshakes last night to give the trays a rest and thinking this was a way for them to redeem themselves. Wrong wrong, just wrong! š I ordered a oreo cappuccino mocha milkshake and a strawberry banana milkshake. They tired to only give me one milkshake.š¤ OCM milkshake was ok, just over loaded with oreos and no balanceš¤¦š¾āāļø to the ingredients in the cup. The main problem was with the SB milkshakeš¤š”. I asked for more strawberry with a hint of banana...what I got was a full banana milkshake with strawberry dust(you saw remnants but no strawberry taste, like they thought about and then poured it out)!! And banana wasn't fresh, not everyone likes mushy bananas. Why people why?? Then it happened to be runny! What on God's earth?!! This is not cookout quality, nor was that a milkshake! Literally felt like a cup of water. What makes the milkshakes so good is how they stand up....everyone knows you don't drink cookout millshakes!, you use a spoon.𤤠So now I must take a break from cookout because the disappointment is just too high. š Now idk when I will be back, but seriously cookout needs new cooks. Remain original guys and bring quality back, that's why...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery weird drive through setup. Very tight. Your QR codes are laminated making it pick up reflections making it nearly impossible to scan plus they were taped to tall traffic cones making them curved. If they were on the wall of the building instead of the tall traffic cones they would be easier to scan. For the food I've never been to a cookout before. And I was not impressed in the slightest. Ordered cheddar style burger with fries but came with two sides and my wife wanted the chili cheese fries. Instead of separating the the Chile cheese fries in a different into a different container they were all put into the same to go container. In doing this we both basically had chili cheese fries. Like come on I know it was late but just had surgery done and this place was basically the only thing opened when I got out of the surgical center. Come on guys have some pride in the food and the way it is served. You can definitely tell this place caters mostly to drunk people coming off of Broadway during this time of night. The guy that answered the drive through sounded like he was eating the microphone and could barely hear what was being ordered eventhough were speak very clear English and enunciate our words especially in a...
