"My husband has cancer and we contacted Hope Lodge to inquire about a room for myself, my husband, and our son, who drives us to Vanderbilt Medical for treatment. The lady at Hope Lodge informed us that they only allow the patient and one caregiver per room. I explained that my son is essential because my husband is too tired to drive the long distance and I have vision issues. The lady said she would ask the manager for permission but couldn't guarantee anything. The manager eventually gave permission for our son to accompany us once, but then asked us to set up the dates. This was confusing because how could we travel to Nashville without my son? I'm not going to get a hotel just for him, that's ridiculous. I'm very disappointed with Hope Lodge's policy.
