It is with grave concern that I write this review, with the hope that it raises awareness about the potential risks to personal security and privacy at the W Marriott Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee.
Recently, I had an experience with the hotel that left me deeply disturbed and questioning the security measures in place to safeguard guest information. Despite booking a reservation for a professional conference under my personal capacity, my reservation details were shockingly made accessible to an unrelated third party.
The individual in question was not only unaffiliated with the conference, but they also had no legitimate reason to inquire about or access my personal reservation details. Yet, they were able to confirm these details directly to me - an undeniable invasion of my personal privacy and a clear breach of trust on the part of the hotel.
Following this incident, I took it upon myself to contact the relevant parties involved in the conference organization. All confirmed that my information had not been disclosed by them, leaving the source of the leak squarely within the hotel's administration.
While the hotel’s management has been informed, their response so far has been inadequate, and the incident remains largely unresolved. The gravity of this situation cannot be overstated – a hotel, especially of Marriott's reputation, has an absolute duty to protect the privacy and personal data of its guests.
Therefore, I am compelled to pen this review as a warning to future guests. This incident has revealed a serious potential lapse in the privacy protocols at the W Marriott Hotel in Nashville, with the potential for far-reaching personal and safety implications.
If you value your privacy and personal security, I urge you to proceed with caution when considering a stay at this hotel. Until the hotel demonstrates a significant commitment to enhancing its data privacy practices and provides reassurance that an incident of this nature will not recur, it is my view that your personal information might not be safe within their systems.

Read moreI think I literally said; “Oh, wow” out loud the moment we walked in the door of this hotel. It is truly stunning. The attention to detail to the architecture and decor is unmatched. The lobby feels very warm and immediately inviting with the rich tones and all the plants. If you are a person like me who loves plants, you will fall in love with this hotel. I just wish they sold them because there were a few I really, really wanted to take home. Everything about this hotel is beautiful and so rich and saturated with detail; make sure you give yourself time to enjoy it - it’s honestly way better than anything “The Gulch” has to offer and The Gulch is pretty great so there’s that. The rooftop bar Proof is one not to miss and I’m so glad I’m local because I’m definitely going back there. The nighttime views are stunning - don’t miss it. The Living Room bar has excellent drinkies as well so pace yourself and enjoy all the bars this hotel has to offer - you’ll thank me later :) We had coffee at Barista Parlor which was excellent and there is a covered patio off to the side with more plants - gorgeous way to start the day. Then we had breakfast at The Restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and prices of the food. It’s a great boho chic atmosphere and great food. Don’t miss it. (As Platinum elite we were given $70 in breakfast credit which was more than enough for breakfast and coffee for two.) I could really go on and on about this hotel and the attention to detail down to the changing of the floor mats in the elevator that change from Good Morning to Good Afternoon to Good Evening - it was rainy while we were there so I was grateful for them and truly appreciate how clean they keep them by swapping them out through the day - to the print of the chicken on the velvet chair (I so want that!) From the moment I arrived, seeking the perfect room, the staff was incredibly attentive. The personalized service I received was unparalleled, especially at "the shop" where Kim worked wonders by finding me the best outfit that suited my style and occasion perfectly.
Stacy's thoughtfulness truly warmed my heart, as she went out of her way to send a get-well-soon note along with a picture of iced tea to my wife's room, who was recovering from surgery. This kind of personalized attention and care was deeply appreciated and made our stay even more special.
Oscar was a lifesaver during my wife's convalescence, finding me a makeshift desk to ensure my meetings went unhindered. His effort to accommodate my needs during a critical time was nothing short of heroic.
I must also commend Dyllan, Amber, and Noel for their roles in making our stay comfortable and memorable. Their dedication to service excellence was evident in every interaction, and they all contributed to making our stay at the W an unforgettable one.
The housekeeping team, including the elevator rug guy, deserves a special shout-out for their impeccable service. The daily change of rugs with messages like "good morning," "good afternoon," and "good evening" added a unique touch of warmth and hospitality that truly set this hotel apart.
These little touches and the overall dedication of the team at the W have made me proud to be a lifetime platinum member. It's clear that the staff doesn't just do their jobs; they go the extra mile to make guests feel valued and cared for.
