I was able to experience something truly masterful last evening…a culinary and wine experience at the Reserve Room…something truly unique in the panhandle of Florida.
Why is it special? It’s a magical opportunity that you can only take advantage of about once a month right now. And it is a chance to treat yourself, as we did, to food and wine in a way that is intimate, elegant, and tasteful and to service that is beyond what you have come to expect from a culinary experience.
Chef Philippe Robles and his staff intricately assembled and executed culinary magic for a wine dinner that featured the fabled Arkenstone Winery, Napa.
Each course was delicately paired with Sauvignon Blancs, and Cabernets. For me, it was like participating in a culinary Cirque du Soleil…one plate of artistic mastery after another expertly placed in front of me.
Simply put, we all had special evening. One we will not soon forget and we are looking forward to another in the not so distant future. The pairings of the food with the wine was done perfectly by Chef Robles and the winery staff that was there doing the presentation. Chef Robles prepared beautiful & tasteful creations that were surprisingly generous portions. The atmosphere is intimate with less than 30 guests.
