Oceans Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Panama City Beach

Today I got a reminder to make my contribution to maps, and no doubts everyone should know this place is scam, please pay attention to the check,not honest people work there We purchased our drink package packs from a lovely girl Mary outside, she met us with a friendly smile and introduced herself, she was so friendly and accommodating, guided us step by step how we can use those cups later on and I think this is a great deal, we bought a package of 7 for me and my husband, I also ordered pizza from her, the white pizza was a name. NEXT DAY yesterday as I’ve been told we had to get drinks inside of the diner area because window was closed, my husband went inside to get a free refill for two of our cups and ordered the same pizza. He got charged 20% gratuity for one pizza, he’s been told that all to go orders are charged that way, after all she also pointed to him that she doesn’t care even if he won’t leave extra tip, she rolled her eyes immediately once she realized that our cups will be refilled for free. Her attitude was nasty, my husband had to print a check only to know her name was Raquel, nasty and scamming service. Worst We gave this place another chance yesterday evening for dinner, only because it is a walking distance from our tower and we were hungry, From the start we asked our server what is that 20% charge cuz I still was wondering and she even showed us on the menu that it is only for the party of 6 or more, would not affect us for the party of 4, and this time we didn’t regret coming, this time we did not feel like we got served, we felt like we came and met a friend who was taking care of us, efficiency, accuracy, and speed, all you Victoria, we will be back only because of you. This time even pizza tasted better. I have Never waited for a server to hug her before leaving without saying bye. Food 10/10, Service 10/10...

Over priced and rude. Not worth your patronage.

First time at the beach with the family and decided to try the local restaurant as it was later when we arrived. Service was slow, but it was busy so we gave that a pass. However the waitress was not attentive at all. We had to call her over several times, to an attitude of can't you see I am busy?! Food was ok, except WAY over priced. And on top of that was a fee from the resort which was not indicated anywhere on the menu. The walk up bar:. Here we experienced one of the rudest bar folks I have encountered. From pestering my children as they decided which drink (there was only one other couple in line) to today's run in, where their register said our last pre-paid drink had been taken earlier that day. (bar had opened 10 minutes before). Said she could do nothing about it, nor could she tell me when the drink was redeemed, understood that you are powerless. So I calmly asked to speak with management about the situation. She proceeded to leave that bar area returning to let us know she could not find her Manager. Then said she would just fill it anyway. Great, but then I received a lecture about how she may have to pay for it. Don't want that, which is why I wanted the manager. To spite me, she did not include the paid for liquor in the drink. I will not return to this establishment, and I certainly hope anyone who reads this takes note, and...

BEWARE! THIS IS A PRIVATE RESORT RESTAURANT ONLY! If you are not staying at the property the restaurant is located at, you cannot and will not be able to get it and security will deny you access. I ordered online and could not get in without 10 minutes of phone calls. After I ordered online and went to pick it up I could not find a non gated entrance. Security turned me around. I called the restaurant and after about 10 minutes was able to get a manager, she called the resort guest reception area who then called security who finally let me in. Once I got to the restaurant, the staff was friendly but the manager had questions as to how I even ordered the food in the first place. I had found it on Google and simply placed the order. I did get my food and will admit that it was very tasty and we did enjoy it, even though by then the fries were cold, everything else was still warm and great. But the whole experience overall was a nitemare and Oceans should make it very clear on the site that this is a private resort restaurant.
