I love visiting Pigeon Forge for my birthday getaway and Eagle's Ridge Resort is always my go-to spot for accommodations. This year was no exception, but I had to select a different cabin because my preferred cabin wasn't available. First, I'll say that Squirrel's Leap (ER 96) is ideally situated within the resort. It is a very nice cabin with quite an appealing layout. Unfortunately, there were a few glaring issues that won't allow me to rate it five stars. The first is probably a "me" thing as I was spoiled by the fact that my usual cabin is always well-stocked with a few basics, along with additional much-appreciated extras in the pantry, none of which were present in this cabin. Secondly, there really needs to be instructions for the remotes...I was only able to locate the channels I was looking for in the upstairs bedroom. Some of us aren't well-versed in navigating multiple remotes for one television without a little guidance. Thirdly, there was an issue with the hot tub not maintaining an appropriate water level for the jets to work properly (maintenance did come out to fill once), but I didn't call them back out because it was a continuing, persistent issue, and frankly, I didn't want to keep getting in and out while they worked to resolve). My final issue was on the last night of my stay. The grill was non-functional and of course, I had prepped my food and was looking forward to a delicious grilled dinner. I called to report the issue - an hour and a half later, someone finally showed up, only to determine that a new propane tank was needed. Long story short, by this time, I had already prepared my meal in the kitchen (after waiting an hour and placing a second call for assistance). It definitely put a damper on my stay. It just seems like making certain that there is an appropriately-filled propane tank prior to a guest's arrival would be a good idea. I will definitely return to Eagle's Ridge, but hopefully, the Perfect Getaway (ER 17) will be available for my next stay.

This is a terrible cabin. I can’t speak for the other cabins here, but I would not ever recommend anyone stay at “Come Back Now Y’all”. I’m not really the complaining type, but here are a list of issues this cabin has. The furniture is old, dirty, and a much of it is broken. The “recliner” in the living area is broken, the couch is so used that you have to use pillows from the bed to even sit comfortably. We had to wash any dishes we wanted to use because they had old food or fingerprints in them. The utensil drawer had crumbs of food in it. Half of the stove top didn’t work. The bathroom shower curtains had mildew/mold growing on them. The mirrors didn’t look cleaned, it looked like someone had sneezed all over them. We found trash and a washcloth underneath the foot of the bed in the main bedroom. The downstairs bedroom walls are nasty with smudges, dirt from hand prints that you can see, and what looks to be drink or food spills. The lamps that were present had either no lightbulbs, or they were burned out. Half of the main fixture lightbulbs were out. The tub wasn’t really draining well on the first floor bathroom. There are no queen beds in the second bedroom as listed, they are full size beds. The list literally goes on and on. We contacted the office and they did replace the shower curtain and get the tub to drain. I’m just deeply unsatisfied with this cabin. It is nothing like the pictures online. Furniture is missing or broken, and it isn’t that clean at all. My advice for anyone looking at Eagles Ridge: find somewhere else, change your destination, or stay home. Those all seem like better options than staying in this cabin. Update** Eagles Ridge management did reach back out after reading this review to look into these issues and to try and resolve problems we had. Sarah, in management, was very understanding and willing to try and make things right.

The cabin we stayed at was DIRTY!!! We spent an hour cleaning it upon arrival! The banisters were so grungy and hadn’t been wiped in who knows how long! You can see some of the wipes in the pictures of the dirt we got off of them. Kitchen table had crumbs, floor was sticky/tacky, windows were dirty, hasn’t been dusted in a long time, old dated items (such as the vcr/dvd combo (that looked broken to me), old plates from like the 90’s, discolored ceiling tiles, old used sheets still on sofa bed (gross), toilet paper holder broken with sharp nails sticking out. We stayed here as part of a promotion from Blue Green (however we paid an uncharge for this cabin and the taxes), but I would never recommend this place nor come back. They don’t seem to want to do a deep clean or properly repair items. Look at the hot tub pics. Didn’t even go in there bc honestly I was afraid it hasn’t been maintained well. Only called to ask for a roll away bed as I didn’t want anyone sleeping on that nasty mattress. They did bring it out to us about an hour later. I mentioned the toilet paper holder. She fixed it somewhat and put tape over it so no one cut themselves on it. She did ask if I wanted them to put in a work order for them to fix it or wait until after we left. I chose the latter as I didn’t want to wait around for them to fix something that should have never been like that at all. Was going to use the blackstone but half of it was rusted the other half was filled with nasty old grease…not wanting to clean up more in this place so I decided not to use it. Eagles Ridge really needs to update their offerings and do deeper cleans regularly. Oh and then they send you a message with check out instructions in which they tell you how to clean up the place! LOL…maybe that’s why this place hasn’t been dusted because it’s not on the list they give to their guests!

We rented cabin 13 Moose Manor because it was close to the pool. We paid good money to stay at this resort and we feel that we did not get what we paid for. The pictures of the cabin on the website looked great. Those pictures were very deceiving, the pictures made it look like the cabin was big and beautiful. In person, the cabin was small and shabby. There were many things broken or damaged. We found out that the Moose Manor cabin was privately owned and the resort just rented the cabin for the owner. Well, the owner of this cabin must be a slumlord because the cabin is not in good condition..The one bed in the front upstairs bedroom was broken. The plug behind the coffee pot was not working. The ice maker was broken. The shade on the front door was broken too. The front big electric burner on the stove would only work after you wiggled it a little. The closet in the bottom bedroom was filled with blankets and there was not enough room to put any clothes in the closet.. The water pressure was a joke. Two people couldn't take a shower at a time because the upstairs bathroom didn't have enough water to shower. The complementary package that was left for us was a joke. They had 1 dishwasher tablet, dishwashing detergent, a dish towel and dish cloth. There was no extra toilet tissue and the cabin didn't have any tissues either. We had to purchase both of them for the week. We called to let the front office know that these things were broken. The service person came to look at everything that was broken, and instead of fixing the broken outlet he told us that we had to press the prongs on the plug together. The beds in the two Master bedrooms make so much noise when you move, the people in the bedrooms below you or above you can hear your bed making noise. They didn't have the part for the ice machine so they had to order the part. The maintenance person called my son in law when the part came in but we were out of the area so it never got fixed while we were there. The craziest thing about this resort was they double booked our cabin. We were out on the porch and a vehicle went up and down the road in front of our cabin. The maintenance person was parked across the street from our cabin. We heard the guy in the SUV ask where cabin 13 was located. The maintenance person pointed over to our cabin and told the people in the SUV that the cabin was occupied until the morning of the next day. The person in the vehicle showed the guy paperwork showing that they were supposed to be in our cabin. The guy in the vehicle said to the maintenance man "Someone made a mistake. The maintenance man said "Yes, that was a Big mistake". What would have happened if we were not home and those people went into our cabin? That could have led to Big problems.. The Best part of this resort was the swimming pool. The Moose Manor cabin was decorated cute with a Rustic theme. It was funny because my husband was carrying our grandbaby and they knocked off one of the pictures on the wall. When it fell off, behind the picture was a sign saying "This item has been stolen". That sign was behind every picture and plaque in the house. Next year we will go back to White Oak Resorts like we did last year. They had more things to do if it rained, they have a game room and a playground for the little kids to play on. Eagle Ridge has none of that. We saw the big building by the pool and thought it was a game room but it was a banquet hall instead. We were very disappointed with our cabin...

Where do I begin.... I went on a couples trip with eight other couples last week. I arrived late to miss the biggest issue which was the bed bug infestation. My best friend was eaten up so bad by the bed bugs she had to go to the ER for immediate care. We have a very large cabin, all the rooms allegedly were supposed to have Jacuzzi's and be spacious, which is why I agreed to go on a trip with a large party. Space and privacy is necessary on a couples trip. Because of the bed bug infestation they swapped us out of the large cabin we were in and split the party up into two different cabins. The cabin we were in had three bedrooms and two bathrooms and seemed to be the budget option. There was no Jacuzzi in my room and I felt like I was vacationing in a room the size of my 12-year-old son's bedroom. The walls were very thin and it seemed as though they did not go floor to ceiling. I felt like I was staying in a cubicle with a door. There was no privacy, I could hear EVERYTHING in the next room. We traveled 12 hours for this nonsense and it was a waste of time and money and I'm never going back. We were not placed in comparable accommodations to make up for the bed bug infested cabin we reserved. The only good thing about the trip was time spent away from the cabin on the strip with friends. Other than that, I'd rate this a zero if I could.

This is in response to this unacceptable response from Eagle Resort posted below... If you believe that little refund abdicates your company from these below par accommodations and your negligence, you are sadly mistaken. My best friend was sent to the ER due to your "best efforts" in maintaining your property. We traveled 12 hours to what was supposed to be a fantastic couples getaway in a well appointed cabin with our own bathroom to a middle school trip staying in a cubicle with a door.

The bed bug issue could have been dealt with had you exercise preventative measures such as heat treating the beds, sheets and rooms before arrivals rather than waiting for people to be assaulted by filthy bed bugs. A thorough cleaning is necessary between guests. As much money as this cabin costs you all ought to be absolutely ashamed of yourselves. The way you downplay this as if it is were tics that are natural to a woodsy atmosphere is laughable. Bed bugs are transported there. Time is a commodity that is priceless and one of the only things you cannot get back. That little refund is an insult. We should of received a FULL refund not these few dollars that you think will make up for a ruined trip. Lastly, the fact you all thought it was a good idea to call the renter to ask me to remove my HONEST review of this travesty is even...

We are staying in Lot #298 of eagles ridge resort. House #260. Rental dates July 17-22. Where to start.. Upon arriving to our cabin, the wifi did not work and still does not work. The shower attached the basement bathroom was filthy. We had to disinfect it ourselves in order to use. The shower curtain has black mold on it. The ceiling tiles in the lowest level have water stains and damage under each bedroom with a toilet and shower in it. Obvious leaks that have caused the damage. The tiles in the bedroom that is in the lowest level are disgusting as well from water damage. The dryer takes forever and a day to dry clothes. A handle is missing from the foosball table. The light above the pool table had a broken bulb which maintenance did come and replace after 2 days. The 2nd level living room has a disgusting strip of tape on the floor, no reason for being there. The remotes for all the tvs were misplaced with an incorrect tv. Took forever to figure out what went where. The shower curtains on the 2nd level all have mold and mildew on as well. The 3rd level which is the main level has multiple issues. The hot tub was not working upon arrival, maintenance came and got it to work the 2nd day. The water does not get any hotter then bathtub water. The ceiling lights had 2 bulbs burnt out. Maintenance fixed the 2nd day. The fireplace does not work, still not working. The kitchen is equipped with 1 potholder, 1 wash rag. The door to the main deck is hard to open and close. The decks are filthy, you can see dirt all over the side of the house. Out and around the cabin, trash is everywhere. The number you are to dial if you need anything, no one ever answers. We spoke to people on Saturday about the issues, instructed us the cleaning crew along with wifi people would be here on Sunday to fix the issues. Today is Monday, no cleaning crew... The floors are so disgusting that your feet are literally black from the filth. I give this cabin 2 stars only due to the size of the cabin. I do not recommend staying at this cabin. This place was very expensive, I understand some issues, but for the price everything should be in working condition, and clean! The basic necessities should be met, and they have not. This is a real review, not computer generated. We have spent alot of money to be here, the owners should be ashamed of the company running this cabin.

Update.. Internet was fixed the 4rd night of our stay. Management refunded a night and cleaning fee. The refund was in the form of a check. Once we were able to speak with a person who did their job, things started getting done. I still only give a 2star due to the cleanliness or lack...
