A very Disappointing and Bizarre Experience at Handbag Outlet Yesterday, while my husband was on a conference call during our travels, I decided to pop into the local handbag outlet store. Located conveniently for tourists (and just 35 minutes from our home), the store initially presented a visually appealing experience. It was bright, open, and the handbags were nicely displayed. However, my initial impression quickly soured. It became immediately apparent that this was not a designer outlet, but rather a purveyor of low-quality knock-offs. While the displays were aesthetically pleasing, the bags themselves were clearly imitations of high-end brands, and poorly executed at that. Adding to the strangeness, I noticed several small animal carriers on the floor in the center aisle. Since I had my Savannah cat in a carrier backpack with me, I inquired about purchasing a similar carrier, and perhaps a smaller bag resembling a Brahmin style for my cat. The gentleman at the sales desk flatly denied selling any such items, despite them being clearly visible on the floor. His behavior then took a bizarre turn. He asked me, "Where do you work?" Taken aback, I replied that I didn't work, as my husband's income was sufficient. He then asked where I lived. Upon learning I lived about 35 minutes away, he suddenly claimed he would be receiving cat carriers on Monday and asked if I'd be "around and available." This entire interaction was incredibly uncomfortable and unprofessional. His blatant denial of selling items clearly in stock, followed by his inappropriate personal questions, left me feeling disrespected and uneasy. It seemed he lacked basic knowledge of his own inventory and displayed a disturbing lack of respect for a woman shopping alone. Furthermore, the handbags themselves were overpriced for their poor quality, clearly mass-produced and shipped in bulk. I strongly advise against visiting this store, especially if you are a woman shopping alone. The combination of low-quality merchandise and the unsettling behavior of the staff made for a truly...

I am happy to say that I now have a new purse on its way to me at no charge. This store owner has renewed my faith and has showed me that there are still good people doing the right thing. I definitely would recommend this store if you are landing a trip to Gatlinburg or...
