We went back to eat breakfast before we ended our vacation today after a great experience and great food 2 days prior. I didn’t get her name but she was absolutely wonderful and the food was amazing. When we went back today our servers name was Luke and he was absolutely terrible and disrespectful. He started out being a smart butt when asked how many we had. It took him awhile to even get our order for our drinks so we went ahead and ordered our drinks and food at the same time because we had been waiting for a long time to even order our drinks. It took him 25 minutes to even bring out our drinks and he only brought them out at that time because we asked him if we could get our drinks. 5 minutes pass and he finally brings them out and calls out my family member that went and asked if we could get our drinks, not to mention he got a attitude with her when she asked him if we could get them.He was very disrespectful to me and my family when we explained. He tried to “explain himself” which made absolutely no sense because as a server it is your job to take care of your customers regardless if you have “21” people or not, bringing out drinks is the first thing you do. He began getting loud with us and making a scene causing everyone to stare at us while he handled the situation very poorly. We never received an apology or anything, just attitude and disrespect and excuses of why it took that long to get drinks. After he started causing a scene and being disrespectful we decided we were going to go somewhere else and got up, he then said “ that’s great, I love it” and started clapping his hands when we decided to leave in front of everyone. We even said we would pay for the drinks but we were not staying after being disrespected by him. On the way out he was telling the manager and my family member said “ Are you the manager?” And she said yes and he said “yeah go ahead and talk to her” and walked off, showing out yet again. We explained to her everything that happened and she understood. She could see how long we were sitting there and showed us that and understood why we were so frustrated. She apologized and did not blame us for our decision and told us how sorry she was, she was very nice! The food is amazing and the first time we came it was all wonderful including the service and atmosphere. If you go here and get Luke as your server, be prepared to wait and get sorry excuses of why he can’t do his job in a...
Read moreOur first experience here was 2 days ago and it was amazing. Our waitress (I can’t remember her name) was super sweet and always attentive to us. Not to mention, food was delicious!! We decided to go back this morning for one last breakfast before heading home, and we unfortunately had a much different experience. We were seated a good 10 minutes before our waiter, Luke, even acknowledged us. Once he finally took our drink orders we went ahead and placed our food order as well. Another 10-15 minutes go by, and still no drinks. I go up to him and ask if we can get our drinks only to receive a smart remark back. Once he brings them he decides to call me out for coming to ask him for our drinks. He proceeds to “explain” why it was taking so long very loudly for other tables to hear him. He states that he has 21 people total to serve and he can’t serve one without serving the others, even though the other tables had already been served. I kept responding with “I get that, but it’s been 25 minutes.” In my opinion, that amount of time is absolutely unacceptable. He kept getting louder and louder with his “explanation” causing everyone in our section to stare at us. We decided it would be best for us to just leave at this point. As we started getting up he starts clapping and making smart remarks such as “love it” and “that’s $100 worth of food that will have to go in the trash.” I located the manager, who Luke was also talking to at this point. I asked if she was the manager, and Luke walks off saying “yea go ahead and talk to her then.” She was very kind and understanding of the situation. She apologized several times, something Luke never attempted to do, and assured us she understood why we decided to leave.
This review is not towards the establishment, but rather our waiter. I personally will visit again in the future, as long as Luke is...
