I will try to be brief. I went in to buy a pair of boots. Was helped by a lady (unknown). She was great. I found a pair after about 45 minutes. My daughter's boyfriend found the same pair online for $100 cheaper. Lady said they price match. She went and spoke with a sales manager, Marlene. She said they will price match but they must have boot in stock. I wear EE, not in stock. I asked the lady for a size bigger. Store didn't have any. I asked for 2 size bigger just to see, not in stock at the store either. I asked to speak with manager, I looked at it like it's not my fault they don't have the size that's online. We waited about 30 minutes until Wes came. Wes said must be in stock for discount. OK. I understand that. I asked him about he doesn't have any a size bigger. He goes to tell me the internet sale must be a discontinue items and they don't price match for that. I told him it doesn't say that on the internet so he assumes that's what it is. So I told him since it's $100 off they pick and choose the price match. He finally said let him go see what he can do, what he has in the boot. Another 30 minutes went by (we late for our dinner show now) and had my family having to wait as well. Wes finally comes out and (long story short) he pulls his policy off about price match (must be in stock) and he said he looked the on line price up and found out it's not a discontinue item, it was an end of sale price which they cover the price match so he gave me $50 (1/2). I was good with that and was in a hurry. Go to the cash register and asked if he could do $25 more since it was my birthday and he did do $10 (total $60). We paid and left. Daughter boyfriend liked my pair so much, he wanted him a pair of the same boot. They had his in stock. After dinner show, same night we returned. He grabbed his and went to pay. Showed her (unknown cashier) but Marlene behind the counter too the online price on my daughter's boyfriend cell phone. Marlene takes the phone to look at it. She starts typing, I'm thinking she is just pulling up the website to make sure it's real. We paid (-$100 discount) and started to walk out. Here is my complaint... He discovered that Marlene sent an email from his phone from his email address to hers with the website address. I went and spoke with her about her using the cell phone without his permission was wrong and invaded his privacy. She said she was sorry and she would delete it. I told her that was not the point. The point was she should not use anyone's phones without the persons permission. I walked outside and stood with family talking about how crazy this is and the experience we were having. I saw Marlene speaking with Wes so I went back in to make sure she was telling him the whole truth. As I got closer, they part ways and he approached me. I asked him did she tell him what happened and he said yes, about the price matching. I asked him did she mention about using the boys phone without permission and didn't say anything to us, that he found where she did. Wes said if that happened, he would talk to her about it. I told him it happened, that she admitted it to us said she was sorry. I said he would talk to her about it. I was upset about it then and upset now, it's been 20 days. I tried to find who the owner is but didn't have no luck. I was wanting to speak with someone. My attorney told me to contact them 1st. Very nice store, 1st lady helped me a lot, Wes did discount the boot for me but the stuff we had to put up with about price match and taking up so much time on waiting on Wes and then Marlene using the boys phone caused me not to be a happy customer. My name is...
Read moreIâm rating this a 3 star! They have great things to shop for, however they DO NOT give you the items on sale for the sale price. Went in there today 06/21/2024 my husband and I are looking around the kids section and find a good sale on some clothing items my husband found one of the items on sale for my daughter and went to check out and the lady who also followed me all through the store as if I were going to steal said the item wasnât on sale when there was a full rack of the same clothing on the 50% off sale she was trying to charge us the original price and not the sale price..$47 for a shirt for my daughter..I was confused by why she was charging us full price but she absolutely wasnât about to honor the sale! I should get them for false advertising..this was the second time my husband and I have been in the store we made it a point to come back as we were in town over a month ago! Loved it!! The women there the first time around was amazing!! They helped me find the sizes I needed and ran and got me whatever I needed to try on, and we had a nice conversation throughout our visit in the store! 2nd time around Iâm not so sure I wanna go back at all to that particular location..my husband and I didnât appreciate being followed through the store and treated as if we are some kind of common thiefâs..we walked in dressed in very expensive clothing and accessories and was prepared to go all out til we seen the red headed lady following us at every turn we made..my husband and I donât steal, we have no reason to..idk why Red was following so closely like she might as well went shopping right with us, but it wasnât appreciated at all..and at the end to charge full price for an item half off was just wrong! DO NOT follow your customers so closely and make them feel uncomfortable to the point they just leave with what they have! Please also DO NOT post items for sale and then not honor it! I understand this is a tourist town and yâall ainât missing much but I doubt if Iâll give them my business ever again after this! I think Iâll shop online to avoid rude employees the next time and not worry about being treated like a thief! Yâall are lucky Iâm being NICE unlike how I was treated by Red but only reason I give yâall 3 star was cause I like the store, and not all...
Read moreMy husband and I stopped into Stages West while on vacation in Pigeon Forge. If youâre in need of any type of Western/Rodeo clothing, Myra bags, belt buckles, cowboy hats of every kind, Lane Frost fragrances, Jewelry, or boots, Etc. this is the place you canât miss. Iâve never seen so many boots in one store! One of the ladies there mentioned they have over 10,000 pairs of boots in their building. Holy cow! The building is 3 stories after all so thereâs plenty of space. They have a great selection of Ariat jeans and the ladies were wonderful at helping my husband find the perfect fit as he needed a particular pair for a wedding. They also have a gentleman in the store who custom fits Cowboy hats, his workspace and craft was really cool to watch. If you are shopping for boots, SEE PAM. She was unbelievably patient in assisting us with selecting and fitting us for boots. And Iâm not talking just grabbing you a pair from the back and sending you on your way, oooh no. Pam walked and talked with us, asked so many questions to pinpoint exactly what we were looking for, measured us, and took us right to our boots which she then steamed and stretched to fit our feet perfectly. I may have the widest feet known to man and have NEVER. N.E.V.E.R. Found a pair of western boots that would EVER fit my feet/calves. Well Pam found them, I was in shock. A beautiful pair of Ariats which she then steamed/stretched to my perfect comfort. She helped us for at least an hour and we never once felt rushed. A few other employees left for lunch and she never batted an eye, she had a job to do. She fitted and sized my husband for boots as well, who apparently has been buying the wrong size his entire 38 years of living which is why heâs ânever found boots that are comfortableâ. Well, weâve both got perfectly comfortable boots now thanks to Pam. Even after assisting us and stretching boots for an hour she stated that we âwerenât obligated to purchase the bootsâ. Oh no maâam, you havenât worked this hard for us not to purchase these boots! I can honestly say the last time someone so carefully fitted me for anything was probably when I got my wedding dress. You really can NOT find this kind of service anywhere anymore. We will definitely go to Stages West the next time we are in town, and...
