First let me start by saying I paid for three separate rooms for two nights at the Howard Johnson by Wyndham in  pigeon forge TN, we checked in on the evening of September the 26th stayed that night September the 27th that night and checked out the morning of September the 28th at approximately 8: 30. when we first checked in there were no towels or washcloths in any of the rooms we went down to the front desk and was told I could only have two towels and washcloths per room. I advised her that we had a total of 11 people in three rooms and she told me that that was per management's instructions and I told her that that was unacceptable then she very reluctantly gave me four more towels and washcloths. I was very irritated but returned to the room . the floors were dirty my white socks I had on were almost black. the bathrooms had mold in them in the corners and around the floor . curtains were torn and broke and had to be pinned up for privacy and two of the rooms did not have adequate light bulbs in the fixtures. the coffee maker in our room did not have all the parts to even make coffee . one of the adjacent doors between two of the rooms was broke with no handle at all and you could open the other door and actually see into the other room. In one of the rooms the safety latch was completely broken and would not work at all. the the first morning we went down around 7:45 to 8:00 a.m. was promised by their website a continental breakfast and their lobby sign posted it would be between 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. when we arrived the front door was completely locked there were buckets sitting in front of it no one was on the premises and there was no breakfast anywhere when I asked about it later that afternoon when we arrived back was told that the breakfast was either around 8:30 or 9:00 and sometimes didn't open till 9:30 or 10:00 depending on when the person that was supposed to be doing the breakfast arrived to work. if you're going to advertise a continental breakfast and times then you should make sure as the owner and management that your employees are doing their job and that this is provided to your customer we were very disappointed with all of the rooms one of the drains was even filthy with just dirty hair. one of the toilets would almost not flush , having to flush it three or four times just to get it to go down . my daughter on the second night requested fresh towels she was given four fresh towels and again there was a total of 11 people so basically we had to share washcloths and share towels which is totally unacceptable and ridiculous. The kids swam in the indoor pool and we're not given any towels. They had to hurry back to the room and use the towels we already had.  Just ridiculous. The second day we were there we had to return to the hotel for my grandson's insulin in the refrigerator to find that two of the access cards had been deactivated. Again had to go to the front desk to have them activated just to access our room. Parking in the front area was very tight and not easy to park.  the morning we checked out their was a new person behind the desk and I looked to my left and saw that the property according to the plaque on the wall is owned by tsp pigeon forge Incorporated which is under the name of Phubodee Sukiyjavanich according to Google. I did some research on Google and found out that the actual owner by county records is Prosper Properties LLC affected January 1, 2024 this corporation is owned by Paravee Snongjati . I have attached pictures to back up everything I just said. I do and will not recommend this Howard Johnson ever to anyone and hope that people reading this will not give them any business. There was a spider on the wall. this is the worst I believe of any place we have ever stayed I hope that this gets to the owner and management so that their practices of how they treat and serve their customers is changed.

We stayed here from 10/4/2024 through 10/7/2024, we were supposed to stay through 10/8/2024 but just couldn't stand it any more. We had 2 separate rooms. Here's a list of some of the many issues: *the whole facility was nasty and seemed to have less than the minimal amount of cleaning and up keep done *we saw one room close to ours that had a sign from management on it stating not to go in that room due to bed bugs and heard at least 2 other families complain of them in theirs *baby roaches were coming out if the space where the bathtub met the shower wall tiles *mold everywhere (shower, bathroom walls, bedroom walls around sink areas, the wall with the door and window *something that appeared to be fecal matter on the bathroom wall *urine caked on the outside of the toilet bowl *a sock shoved up and under the shelves attached to the sink that was stiff and not ours *no fire alarm *the vent/light fixtures in the bathrooms had no covers an had lint and dust caked in them (major fire hazard) *all staff were incredibly rude and disrespectful to everyone they talked to in person and on the phone *the continental breakfast was only a granola bar and on only 1 of the mornings was nasty coffee available *the room next to ours had someone heavily smoking pot/drugs that the odor was choking heavy in our room, when we tried to complain the front staff wouldn't even listen *one of the beds felt like the frame was either broken or breaking *the inside pull was not clean and the rescue float was broke in half and falling apart *for both rooms we had a combined total of 3 towels and 1 wash rag when we got there. When we asked for more they initially refused to give us any but upon asking again they gave us 2 towels *1 of the rooms didn't have a door lock and the latch lock was broken off *when I asked to speak to a manager we were told there wasn't one available and was given a generic email and told we might hear back in 2 to 3 weeks *we heard at least 3 other families complaining of being double charged for their rooms while we were in the lobby waiting to talk to the desk attendant, each one was given the same generic email and told all they could do was email it and they might hear back soon. This place is a joke, I could add more to this. The owner and management should be embarrassed to be renting the rooms here out and them and their crappy staff should have to stay in these rooms for a while and given the same treatment and discust as they give their guests.

Not every hotel can be a winner, and this one definitely isn't. I don't expect much from a hotel. I expect it to be clean. I expect housekeeping to come by and make the beds and tidy up. You know, the bare minimum. Anything else is a bonus, because, lets be honest, if you can't get the basics down what's the point of offering more? In the time we've been here housekeeping hasn't touched our room. Don't know if this is a decision by management, but, if it was, it wasn't expressed to us. We needed more towels. I went to the front desk and was told we had to bring the used ones down. Why? Because they didn't want towels piling up in the room. Towels wouldn't pile up if housekeeping was done. There also appears to only be one housekeeper. Also, why were the towels stained yellow. Why are they given to guests? I don't have a problem with older buildings. Older buildings can come with lots of charm and character. This place is not new. It's old and looks it. If it was a person I'd say it was tired. There are places on our wall where it looks like something heavy was shoved into it. The area has a crack and peeling paint. Next to that is a small hole. The ceiling looked to be warped. How a ceiling gets warped I don't know. There is a peephole that's covered by a long strip of duct tape. The pillows are lumpy. Mine is no longer rectangular in shape. The nightstand is chipped, and a band of vaneer is missing on the cubbies by the sink, which drains slowly. The lampshade is cracked. The art work on that wall is chipped. So many cracked things! Also, in order for the door to be actually closed (so it can be locked or just closed) it has to be slammed. Tried closing it normally and it wouldn't lock. Why do I have to slam a door to get it to function properly? Let's talk about the bathroom. My husband says it's 'tow up'. There is a hole in the ceiling. The grate to cover the hole is missing and there is exposed wiring. The tub has a large section of porcelain missing, and drains slowly. You're left standing in water by the time you're finished. There is no actual shower curtain. The one there is decorative. I'm surprised the water didn't seep through. There is a phone jack but no phone. The pros: There is a mini fridge, small microwave, plenty of outlets, an iron/ironing board, and a luggage rack. Also, there is a small table in case you have to eat in the room.

1/24/25: Housekeeping is just rude. I get asked every day if I'm leaving. Knocks on the door, comes in anytime she wants. If she sees me asleep, she just goes back out trying to make it seem unnoticed. If I'm awake, I say, "Hold on a minute!" (trying to give me time to put pants on) Well that makes her think that gives her the queue to come in? I don't think so. Then today, since she didn't listen, she sees me in my underwear. Not that I'm embarrassed, but I don't wanna feel like I'm being rude to her. I show her my phone that I have it scheduled until the 25th. This has happened for 3 or 4 days now (what I don't get is why it didn't happen Wednesday). And the only time I have had this happen. I have been in and out of hotels since February of last year. Seems like she's just trying to run me off. So, I got suspicious, went to the front desk, and asked what was going on. She asked if I was in room 211 and then said I need to pay since I was staying there for free. I got really pissed off and just stood my ground. I showed her my phone that the current reservation was January 21-25th. I even straight up said that I'll leave right now if this don't get straightened out. She said she didn't wanna argue and wanted to get it straightened out. She said it says in the system that I checked out on the 22nd, and then checked back in and went up to room 3 something. I have never done that! I have been in room 211 since January 14th. Somebody really messed up somewhere. I even went to pick up a package yesterday from the office, and told her my room number, and if it was that big of a problem, she should've said something then, or they could've called on the room phone. I don't expect much out of a hotel like most people do because I haven't had it all perfect all my life. All I want is to be left alone and want my privacy without people barging in all the time Edit 1/25/25: Same thing happened again today. Another housekeeper came in after she knocked and didn't let me answer the door. Then she said she was at the "wrong room". Damn get it together. Looks like I probably won't be back Edit 1/31/25: Well, I bit the bullet and came back. Luckily I didn't get harassed by housekeeping. If I can have a stay like the first week I was there and this time, that would be great. Raising my review to 4 stars. The only time I'll edit my review is if something happens again Edit 2/5/25: Had another housekeeping episode. Just let herself in without letting me answer the door. This is the RUDEST hotel I have been at. Then, after I get checked in at the front desk, an hour later housekeeping comes by and asks if I got checked in with the front desk. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO CLEAR EVERYTHING WITH HOUSEKEEPING!!! THIS IS COMPLETE BS!!! Edit 2/7/25: Left at 10:25. What didn't happen today? Housekeeping didn't come by! This is completely stupid! Apparently you have to leave in order for them not to come by. Not have another reservation. I'm gonna try not to come back because all is good until I make another reservation, then all hell breaks loose. This is the only hotel that housekeeping has to know everything I'm doing. And I have been at a bunch in...

The owner and management should be embarrassed to be renting the rooms here out and them and their crappy staff should have to stay in these rooms for a while and given the same treatment and discust as they give...
